The Poughkeepsie Jazz Project was created in 2012 with the goal of maintaining live jazz culture and community in Poughkeepsie, NY. Since its inception, The PKJP has presented a weekly jazz jam session accessible to all musicians and fans of live music. Over the past twelve years, the jam has been honored to host hundreds of musicians from the Tri-state area. This event is free to both participants and listeners. All with a passion for jazz are welcome.

West Point On The March comes to Paramount Hudson Valley on February 27, featuring the renowned West Point Band in a stirring program celebrating one of America’s most iconic musical traditions. West Point on the March is a thrilling tribute to the power, precision, and pageantry of the military march, performed by one of the nation’s premier military ensembles. The West Point Band is the U.S. Army’s oldest band and the oldest continuously operating unit at West Point, with more than 200 years of history dedicated to world-class musical excellence. Tracing its roots to the field musicians stationed at West Point after the Revolutionary War, the band has grown into a cultural institution that educates, trains, and inspires the Corps of Cadets while serving as musical ambassadors for the United States Military Academy and the U.S. Army.
