	Raphael Silverman is rapidly emerging as one of the most compelling young guitarists on today's jazz scene. A native New Yorker and a recent graduate of Columbia University, Raphael already performs and tours with some of the most respected names in jazz. He is a member of the bands of two iconic former Art Blakey Jazz Messengers - Philip Harper and Johnny O’Neal -and has shared the stage with Eric Alexander, Rodney Green, Akiko Tsuruga, Peter Washington, Winard Harper, and many others. He leads the Raphael Silverman Trio and has appeared at renowned venues such as Smalls, Mezzrow, Ornithology, Jazz Forum, Minton’s Playhouse, and Jazz at Lincoln Center. He has also toured internationally in Europe and Asia. Silverman's music pays deep respect to the lineage of jazz guitar while carving out a fresh, personal voice. $20 adm.
