 Valerie Smith, a celebrated bluegrass musician from Holt, Missouri, has built a remarkable career shaped by her early musical influences. Growing up in a town rich in folk songs and storytelling, her passion for music blossomed. After studying music performance at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, she began teaching music in public schools, furthering her love of education. Relocating to Nashville, Tennessee, Valerie was inspired by legends like Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings, which enhanced her sound and led to new collaborations. Touring extensively, she captivated audiences with her blend of traditional and contemporary bluegrass, known for her authentic storytelling. Valerie formed her band, Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike, which gained recognition for its dynamic performances. With albums like "Patchwork Heart" and "Maggie's Journal," Valerie continues to evolve as an artist, showcasing her distinctive voice and heartfelt songwriting in the bluegrass community. |

 Hank Azaria & The EZ Street Band is a labor of love for Azaria, a life-long Springsteen fan. “I’ve never worked harder preparing for any role than I did in perfecting a singing vocal impression of Bruce,” said Azaria.
Azaria is an acclaimed actor and voice artist, perhaps best known for his decades of work on The Simpsons. Now he’s using his voice in a new and different way, and having a blast entertaining people in a live, concert setting. Azaria spent months creating an impression of Bruce’s distinctive speaking cadence and singing ‘voice’ to conceive the tribute show. As Azaria told Rolling Stone, “I think of it as a theatrical performance,” he says. “I’m staying in character as Bruce even though I’m telling stories about myself. It’s a performance piece, but I’m not a Bruce impersonator.” The tribute performance itself is a joyful, full-tilt rock ’n roll event, and Azaria’s physicality and flair are a true homage to Bruce.

 The New York based Cuban jazz ensemble "Hot House", produced and directed by trumpeter Steven Gluzband, juxtaposes traditional Cuban dance forms with the jazz idiom. Gluzband has played with Latin superstars Tito Puente, Mongo Santamaría, Héctor Lavoe, Machito, Celia Cruz, Sonora Matancera, Orlando Contreras, Vicentico Valdez, Ray de la Paz, Larry Harlow, the Alegre All Stars; recorded 18 albums with the Haitian group Mini All-Stars; was a member of the Ray Barretto Orchestra, appearing on over 250 recordings including the Grammy-winning Ritmo en el Corazon and Naked; and has been a member of Johnny Pacheco's band since 2006.

This event is an extension of Newburgh Porchfest (https://www.instagram.com/newburghporchfest/) and is a way to highlight Newburgh's local talent by creating year-round connectivity to the annual event, while promoting independent artists and live music in Newburgh.
