Join BridgeMusik artists and special guest pianist David Budway for a heart-warming holiday concert featuring flute, string quartet, percussion and piano. The program journeys from the magic of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker to the charm of Charlie Brown and beloved seasonal classics including The Christmas Song, Sleigh Ride, and White Christmas. A festive blend of classical elegance and joyful tradition for audiences of all ages.
Alexis Cole has been compared to classic jazz singers such as Sarah Vaughan and Anita O'Day. A Top Winner of the Jazzmobile Vocal Competition judged by jazz icons TS Monk, Catherine Russell, Grady Tate and Dr. Billy Taylor, 3rd prize winner in the Montreux Jazz Vocal Competition, and a finalist in the Sarah Vaughan Competition, Alexis has a dozen albums to her credit. She has recorded with such artists as Fred Hersch, Bucky Pizzarelli, and Don Braden, has been a soloist with the Boston Pops and the Detroit Symphony, and headlines at clubs around the US and Asia.
Originally from Argentina, Alejandro Espinosa is a highly accomplished performer, composer, arranger, and educator. He holds a Master of Music from NYU and a BFA from City College, both in jazz trombone.
Jessica Lynn’s A Very Merry Classic Christmas” has become a genuine New York holiday tradition, rivaling and even eclipsing some of the biggest of holiday spectaculars. This fun-filled, family sleigh ride through the most wonderful time of the year was named by press as the “#1 Great Thing to do in The Hudson Valley for The Holidays,” “Best of Westchester,” and “Best of Hudson Valley.” A sell-out performance every year, the show is a full multi-media presentation featuring dancers, marching bands, choirs, and special fx. With all of the traditional holiday songs you know and love, people of all ages become a part of the show and experience the magic of Christmas while raising money and collecting toys for Toys for Tots.
