Sunday 9:00 pm to 10:30 pm | The Whispering Tree Singer-Songwriter. Franco - American Duo | Hootenanny Cafe Mini Concerts Online and on the radio, NY See Map |
Franco-American duo The Whispering Tree crafts richly immersive folk brimming with evocative lyrics and soaring vocals. Their new album, Bones of Better Days, explores identity and the myths we tell ourselves about the past. Following the success of their precious release, Invisible Forces (which debuted at #1 on the Folk DJ charts in 2018), the duo toured extensively across the U.S. and Europe—until the world came to a halt. In the quiet and chaos that followed, they began piecing together a collection of songs that reflect on memory, loss, and reinvention. The result is their most sonically rich and lyrically fearless album yet. | ||

Welcome to “Our Band Show!" Live on Saturday, October 25th, 2025 on YouTube!!
We are a Hudson Valley concert series that invites musicians of all genres to broadcast with us on YouTube! Every camera and microphone is recorded to master performances to the highest quality!! Whether you watch live or tune in later on social media, we look forward to rocking out with you! Traditionalists or progressives? Fronted by the charismatic Jamaican-born singer and songwriter Nee Nee Rushie, the seven-piece New York band The Big Takeover plays original music that is reverent toward the genres and rhythms of Jamaican pop: reggae, rocksteady, ska. They are devotees of Desmond Dekker and the way the old school did it. At the same time, The Big Takeover crosses lines and blends traditions like global pop fusionists. Their deceptively complex arrangements and big hooks connect with the spirit of Motown and the uptown sophistication of the 21st century retro soul and R&B revival scene.
