![]() An innovative live concert/lecture exploring the history of the harp from Homer to Harpo and beyond. Explore the 62,000 year world history of the harp in a unique power-point presentation. This includes wonderful live music selections performed by The Gravikord Duo: Bob Grawi inventor of the Gravikord and his wife Pip Klein on flute/percussion. The Gravikord is a double electric harp based on the West African kora and one of the world's newest harps. It has currently found a home in the permanent musical instrument collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This project is made possible with funds from the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Mid-Hudson. | ||

The Fortnightly Club of Catskill will be hosting its 18th Annual Rip Van Winkle Wine, Brew & Beverage Festival on May 10th, from 11:30 am to 5:00 pm at the Historic Catskill Point, 1 Main Street Catskill, located right on the Hudson River. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $25 or online through https://fortnightlyclubofcatskill.ticketspice.com/rvwwinebrewbeveragefestival.
Patrons will enjoy wine, craft beers, distilled beverages, cheeses, shopping for craft goods, food and live music entertainment throughout the day. The Fortnightly Club of Catskill is a non-for profit organization.
