	It's the Gravikord Duo's lecture/concert "Out of Africa, the Beat Goes On" at Cornwall Public Library. Hear Bob Grawi on Gravikord delay and Pip on flute, and percussion ...enjoy our presentation of the world history of harps with appropriate enjoyable musical selections from four continents. An innovative live concert/lecture exploring the history of the harp from Homer to Harpo and beyond. Explore the 62,000 year world history of the harp in a unique power-point presentation. This includes wonderful live music selections performed by The Gravikord Duo: Bob Grawi inventor of the Gravikord and his wife Pip Klein on flute/percussion. The Gravikord is a double electric harp based on the West African kora and one of the world's newest harps. It has currently found a home in the permanent musical instrument collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This project is made possible with funds from the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Mid-Hudson.
