Our Ninth Annual Pete Seeger Fest will celebrate the musical, environmental and humanitarian legacy of our neighbor, mentor, and friend.

New this year will be a group of young performers from Cold Spring, the “MOVE Choir,” under the direction of Linda Richards. They will join veteran performers David and Jacob Bernz, Betty and the Baby Boomers, Roy Diggit, Rick Nestler, Laurie Siegel and Patrick Stanfield Jones, Joe Kaminsky, RJ Storm and the Old School Bluegrass Band, the Trouble Sisters, and Sarah Underhill.

Fine crafts will be offered for sale, and refreshments will be available.

This is a FREE, family-friendly event that will be outdoors if the weather permits or indoors if it rains. Donations will be shared with the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, the Beacon Sloop Club and the River Pool at Beacon.

Mario Tacca is a World Renowned Accordion Virtuoso. Mary Mancini is an Internationally Acclaimed Vocal Artist. Together they mesmerize audiences around the world. On May 4, 2025 they will bring their talents to a special concert fundraiser for the American Accordionist's Association. What better way to celebrate World Accordion Day!

This special event is an intimate in-home performance. After the performance you will have the opportunity to meet the artists when a light supper is served.

Tickets are $45 per person, and must be purchased in advance. Seating is limited to 45 people. The address for the venue will be provided after ticket purchase. All proceeds will benefit the American Accordionists' Association.

It's the Gravikord Duo's lecture/concert "Out of Africa, the Beat Goes On" at Cornwall Public Library. Hear Bob Grawi on Gravikord delay and Pip on flute, and percussion ...enjoy our presentation of the world history of harps with appropriate enjoyable musical selections from four continents.

An innovative live concert/lecture exploring the history of the harp from Homer to Harpo and beyond. Explore the 62,000 year world history of the harp in a unique power-point presentation. This includes wonderful live music selections performed by The Gravikord Duo: Bob Grawi inventor of the Gravikord and his wife Pip Klein on flute/percussion. The Gravikord is a double electric harp based on the West African kora and one of the world's newest harps. It has currently found a home in the permanent musical instrument collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

This project is made possible with funds from the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Mid-Hudson.

The Warwick Valley Chorale is pleased to announce three upcoming performances of its 84th annual Spring concert. Led by conductor Ron DeFesi and accompanied by Gail Johnson, this season’s presentations will consist of Mozart’s Requiem in D minor, which the group will be singing again at Carnegie Hall in May, and the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Croton-on-Hudson in June, as well.

These concerts will also feature solo performances from the winners of the Stanley Curtis Memorial Scholarship: First prize winner Abigail Yurchuk, a junior at Warwick Valley High School; second prize winner Abigail Straebler, a senior at Port Jervis High School; and third prize winner Taylor Longo, a senior at Valley Central High School.

The exhibit is curated by HASNA MUHAMMAD, a visual artist, writer, and educator whose work focuses on family, social justice, education, and the human condition.

The exhibit features the art of 10 members of her family including the photography, poetry, quilting, fine art, wearable art, and functional glassware of her family: Ihsaana Carter, Karina Castellanos, Guy Davis, Bill Day, Imani Day, Gail Miller, Hasna Muhammad, Jihaad Muhammad, Wali Ali, and the first-time, exclusive, opening night only exhibition of a painting by the late actor and activist, Ruby Dee. The opening will also be followed by the live music of WALI ALI featuring Bob Baldwin, Kevin Hill, Tony Lewis, and Sly Scott.

Exhibition opening is free and open to the public. Music performance follows and has a $20 admission. Make reservations in advance.

Tompkins Corners presents Ensemble Sangineto: Italian Strings and Voices for World Music, an eclectic group that seamlessly blends ancient harmonies and sonorities with modern rhythms.

Formed in 2000 by twins Adriano and Caterina Sangineto, the group blends ancient harmonies with modern rhythms. Children of renowned harp and psaltery maker Michele Sangineto, they were immersed in traditional music from an early age and later drew inspiration from Irish, Breton, and French styles.

Their sound combines harp, bowed psaltery, guitar, and rich three-part vocals—creating a light, joyful, and ethereal atmosphere.

Ensemble Sangineto explores genres from classical and folk to pop and Gregorian chant. Now joined by guitarist and bouzouki player Jacopo Ventura, the trio continues evolving and enchanting audiences worldwide with their unique blend of tradition and innovation.
