Tompkins Corners will present a Québécois workshop and concert. Performing on violin, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo, flute, and bodhran, Zigue’s music radiates an undeniable energy—an authentic connection born from tradition and family.
Claude Méthé and Dana Whittle are dynamic singers and prolific composers deeply inspired by traditional Québécois music. Since 1992, they have performed, composed, and shared their musical journey, blending Claude’s raw, emotional vocals and authentic fiddling with Dana’s powerful rhythms and vocals. Together, they create the kind of musical magic that defines family traditions. In 2019, their son Aimé Méthé joined the group, reinforcing their commitment to preserving musical heritage. In 2022, Mario St-Germain became the fourth member, adding further depth to their rooted style. A workshop will be held from 1:00 to 3:00, followed by a concert at 4:00.
