A renowned vocalist, Tony Leon is joined by master musicians: Steve Colon on piano, Connie Grossman on flute, Davis Ramelis on violin, Willie Cintron on bass and Danny Valle on percussion.
Born in Havana, Cuba, Tony Leon launched his singing career with Los Melodicos. He became the soloist for renowned trumpeter and orchestra leader Alfredo 'Chocolate' Armenteros and their album, Prefiero el Son, recorded with S.A.R. Records, went gold. He also became the lead singer for José Fajardo y Sus Estrellas, and the legendary flutist and band leader, José Antonio Fajardo who gave Tony his title: El Leon del Bolero. Tony has worked alongside music greats such as Roberto Torres, Linda Leida, Papaito, Alfredito de la Fe, Alfredo Valdes, Jr. and Marino Solano and has performed in concerts with Willie Chirino, Ray Baretto, David Valentino, Cachao, Hansel y Raul, Tito Puente and Johnny Pacheco. Premik,internationally acclaimed composer, arranger, producer and accomplished multi-instrumentalist will perform on sax, flute and EWI, along with Steve Sandberg (piano), Neil Alexander (synthesizer), Pete Swanson (bass), and Patrick Carmichael (drums).
Premik has worked with music greats Carlos Santana, Whitney Houston, Herbie Hancock, and Jackson Brown, played Sting's 2008 Rainforest Concert at Carnegie Hall, and toured extensively with Russian legend Boris Grebenshikov. Christopher Kienle is a classical guitarist from the Hudson Valley area. He has been playing guitar since he was 11 years old. First interested in classic rock guitarists like Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton, his tastes and playing have since evolved from this well lauded genre to the great classical composers.
He brings the great composers of the past decades and centuries to local venues, cafes and restaurants. He in particular likes to perform music from Latin American classical composers like Heitor Villa-Lobos as well as arrangements of well renowned European composers such as Frederic Chopin and Erik Satie. He is mostly self-taught although he has taken classical guitar classes while a student at SUNY Purchase. Donations are greatly appreciated! | ||

L.A. Moore is a Canadian born, Florida based singer songwriter. He has produced two albums with his band Not Broken Yet and two solo projects. He performs extensively in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area.
His first solo CD, “Late Bloomer” met with great critical success and has had airplay on stations in England, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, USA and Canada. His song “Reach Out” has been a finalist in several international song competitions. A second solo project “Snappy Comeback” was released in November (2024). “Snappy Comeback” harkens back to a simpler time. A time where we celebrate our friends past and present. A time with less technology. A time for appreciation of the things that really matter. | ||

The Poughkeepsie Jazz Project was created in 2012 with the goal of maintaining live jazz culture and community in Poughkeepsie, NY. Since its inception, The PKJP has presented a weekly jazz jam session accessible to all musicians and fans of live music. Over the past nine years, the jam has been honored to host hundreds of musicians from the Tri-state area. This event is free to both participants and listeners. “Smokin’ Buddie” Steve (AKA Steven Wells) is a musician: vocalist/guitarist, who has been playing in and around the Hudson Valley area for the past 18 years. His musical path has taken him to surrounding states including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Connecticut. In 2023, “Smokin’ Buddie” Steve played his 2000 th show (and still counting!). Steve’s highlights include being featured at Dutchess Stadium as pre game entertainment for the Hudson Valley Renegades. He’s been featured at Woodbury Commons Shopping Outlets also.
