Cheryl & Kurt, a dynamic guitar/harmonica duo playing original music in the tradition of the Byrds and Ian and Sylvia, always surprise and delight people with the diversity of their repertoire, both covers and originals. Kurt's popularity as a guitarist is due in part to the range of styles he displays, while the duet taken as a whole--guitar, harmonica, percussion and harmony vocals--seems like more than two busy musicians, making for a compelling performance.

Half Waif (Chatham, NY) Album Release Show
with Elori Saxl (Ghent, NY)

Chatham-based singer, songwriter, and producer Nandi Rose, who records and performs internationally as Half Waif, premieres the songs from her new record, See You At The Maypole, released October 4th on ANTI- Records.

With the ability to “turn her voice into a choir” (The New York Times), Rose leads an eight-piece ensemble through this complex work, which grows out of her classical piano training towards pop songwriting styles with experimental electronic production and expansive arrangements. The songs—performed live for the first time at PS21—each feature their own choreographed movement, with lyrics that focus on themes of fertility, loss, motherhood, mortality, and the role of nature in healing.
