Having participated in various projects, both together and individually, Fino and El Clásico are well-versed in the Merengue Típico world. They are now creating opportunities and opening doors for the genre that brought them together. As Bronx natives, the diverse cultural landscape fuels their creativity, leading to innovative collaborations and original music.

Welcome to “Our Band Show!" Live on Saturday, September 21st, 2024 on YouTube!!

We are a community oriented, web-based music show of like-minded individuals. Join us as we band together to celebrate the craft of visual music performance. We strive to create a warm, inviting space where talented creators can come together to amplify the story behind the artists.

Jack Manley is the new solo project of Kingston NY. Written by Manley during a 30 day hospital following two near fatal overdoses, his songs partly chronicle his journey towards sobriety, confronting difficult truths, failures, regrets, and love. All while bringing some of the artist's darkest moments into light.

A clash of high and low-brow, His style honors atmospheric texture while pursuing harsher/angular sounds.

Singer/songwriter Jack Manley's former projects include Cosmonaut, The Jennifer Shop, and Spires.

The Porch Brothers
Americana, Acoustic
BeanRunner Cafe
201 S. Division Street @ Esther
Peekskill, NY   See Map
The Porch Brothers are Richard Brooker and Tom Heany. They sing and play acoustic guitars and mandolin. Their songs are mostly American and mostly vintage, with generous handfuls of originals, contemporary gems and surprises thrown in. A typical set might include jazz from Duke Ellington or Django Reinhardt, a gem or two from John Prine, some standards, a country classic from Cindy Walker, a few fiddle tunes and some of heartwarming, heartbreaking originals.

Richard Brooker's deft touch on guitar and mandolin comes from decades of playing songs from American, Celtic, Gypsy and Brazilian traditions. Tom Heany is a Hudson Valley songwriter; his instruction manual is the great American songbook, and his newspaper is traditional American music.

They sing like well-loved old cars.

Donations to the musicians are greatly appreciated.

Tom Prasada-Rao is a musician's musician - an unassuming presence on the folk scene since the early nineties. His voice belies his musicianship and his extraordinary songs.

Tom was born in Ethiopia of Indian parents and raised in Takoma Park, MD. He writes songs of extraordinary power & spirituality evoking his Indian heritage and his love of R&B. In 2019, Tom was diagnosed with stage four cancer, followed by surgery, radiation, and chemo. He took a break from touring for a season and then returned to the road as he was able to, continuing to inspire and encourage audiences wherever he went.

2020 marked a change in Tom's writing, with over10 new songs about loss, race, and hope including the viral sensation $20 Bill (for George Floyd). Many say that Tom’s best songs were written in the last 5 years.

Tom passed away on June 19, 2024, but his music lives on in his recordings and many artists who continue to share Tom’s songs on stages all across the country.
