Sunday 9:00 pm to 10:30 pm | The Honey Badgers Singer-Songwriter, Americana, and Folk/Traditional | Hootenanny Cafe Mini Concerts Online and on the radio, NY See Map |
When Michael Natrin asked Erin Magnin to dust off her rarely played fiddle and join him for a couple songs at a local showcase, the two never imagined they were creating a partnership that would change the course of their lives. Playfully calling themselves The Honey Badgers, the two discovered a blend between their voices that demanded to be heard, and thus the duo was born.
Thirteen years later, Erin and Michael are married, touring regionally, and winning hearts wherever they play with their sparkling harmonies, intimate lyrics, and undeniable onstage chemistry. Weaving their voices together over driving guitar and wistful violin, The Honey Badgers spin stories and songs about finding yourself, finding each other, and finding your way in the world. They were recently voted “Most Wanted” at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival’s 2023 Emerging Artist Showcase. Their sophomore album, “The Earth Turns and So Do We”, released June 2024, is currently charting on folk radio. | ||
