1008 Brown Street
Peekskill, NY   See Map
As we fire it up for St Patrick’s day, enjoy an evening of phenomenal Irish music and dance, featuring Daisy Jopling’s Band and the bold sound of the Narrowbacks.
Violinist Daisy Jopling has toured the world performing solo in many iconic venues including the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, Lincoln Center and the Royal Albert Hall in London at the age of 14, and she has recorded nine albums, two with BMG RCA Victor. Daisy’s deep love of Irish music springs from the great tunes and artists who influenced her own skills during her many visits to her childhood family home in Kerry, Ireland. She is honored to be part of this wonderful celebration. Daisy will also feature local young talent, including the Peekskill City Singers directed by Larry Del Casale and Ovation Strings directed by Susan Feldman. The brainchild of a future banker and a drop out bartender, The Narrowbacks bring fresh voices for song and stories, old and new.

City Winery Hudson Valley Presents Will Hoge live in concert on March 10th at 7pm

Will Hoge is a mainstay of 21st century rock & roll, carrying the torch for a blue-collar sound rooted in ringing Telecaster guitars and anthemic songwriting. He makes music for roadhouses and rallies, for car stereos and dive-bar jukeboxes, for Saturday night hell-raising and Sunday morning comedowns. In an era of social media influencers looking to fast-track their way to fame, Hoge has proudly taken the long way around, dedicating himself not to the destination, but to the journey itself. The trek continues with Wings On My Shoes, the twelfth studio album in a career whose milestones include Number One hits, Grammy nods, major-label record deals, and hard-won independence. Written amidst the doom and gloom of a pandemic that brought his touring schedule to a standstill, it's a record that seeks out silver linings, emphasizing bright moments over looming darkness.

Vocalist/composer Jacqui Naylor returns with her celebrated 12th album, Treasures of the Heart, featuring a mix of standards, covers, & original music. Naylor’s albums have made the top-ten lists in USA Today, Jazziz, The Washington Post and more, and her unique sound is attributed to her interplay with long-time bandmates, Art Khu (piano), Richie Goods (bass), and Ele Howell (drums).

Treasures of the Heart includes an Afro-Cuban inspired take on the Rodgers and Hart classic "I Didn’t Know What Time It Was," a sensitive interpretation of Burt Bacharach and Hal David’s iconic "This Guy's in Love with You," and encouraging, groovy Naylor and Khu originals "Love's Around" and "Treasures of the Heart."

Naylor tours regularly and has headlined at some of the world's finest jazz venues and festivals, including Ronnie Scott's London, Sunset-Sunside Paris, Birdland New York, Quasimodo Berlin, Jazz Alley Seattle, SFJAZZ Center, and Blue Note Clubs Worldwide (New York, Milan, and Tokyo).

Peekskill, NY   See Map
The Elmo Project is a celebration of the musical legacy of Elmo Hope led by jazz pianist Bertha Hope-Booker and supported by the Jazz Foundation of America, Jazz Forum Arts, and Lady Got Chops Women's Music Festival.

Elmo Sylvester Hope was an American jazz pianist, composer, and arranger, chiefly in the bebop and hard bop genres. He grew up playing and listening to jazz and classical music with Bud Powell, and both were close friends with Thelonious Monk. He recorded with several emerging stars including trumpeter Clifford Brown and saxophonists John Coltrane, Lou Donaldson, Jackie McLean and Sonny Rollins.

Bertha Hope-Booker married Elmo in 1957 and after her husband’s passing in 1967 continued to present his music and remained an active force in improvised music. She is a composer and arranger with several recordings under her name, including In Search of Hope and Elmo's Fire (Steeplechase); Between Two Kings (Minor Records) and her latest Nothin’ But Love (Reservoir).

Welcome to “Our Band Show!" Live on Saturday, March 16th, 2024 on YouTube!!

We are a community oriented, web-based music show of like-minded individuals. Join us as we band together to celebrate the craft of visual music performance. We strive to create a warm, inviting space where talented creators can come together to amplify the story behind the artists.

Grampfather is an eclectic rock band based out of Kingston, NY. Their material traverses a variety of rock genres, such as indie, garage, punk, psych, chill, and thrash. The band is composed of James Kwapisz on guitar and vocals, Andrew Blot as lead guitar, Tony DiMauro on drums, and Jake Offermann playing bass.

Kwapisz started the band in 2013, bringing lively, chaotic, fun-rock to the Upstate New York basement and house show scene. The then two-piece garage rock ensemble has since evolved into a four-piece genre-whirling force.
