Paula Boggs Band
Singer-Songwriter, Americana, and Jazz. Soulgrass
Hootenanny Cafe Mini Concerts
Online and on the radio, NY   See Map
Since 2008 Paula Boggs Band has blended jazz and Americana into “Seattle-Brewed Soulgrass,” delighting audiences across the US and opening for artists like Sunny War and Eric Bibb along the way. Their last album “Janus,” featuring Dom Flemons, released in 2022. They are an official showcase artist at 2024 Folk Alliance International and recording their 5th studio album later this year.
"A raw nostalgia ...that might… surprise." - Americana Highways
“Boggs makes...urban, jazzy music...within the structures of...folk, bluegrass, and...blues...[s]he calls... “soulgrass,” and reminds me a little of Gil Scott-Heron, if only for the razor-intensity of her words...in a croony-rich street voice...evocative and easy to like.” Dave Good, San Diego Reader
"Rewriting the bluegrass story from a black perspective." - Americana UK

Peekskill, NY   See Map
George Kilby Jr, who divides his time between New Orleans and the Catskills, has brought the sounds of the Crescent City to stages all over the world.

Each member of the Revue has a long and colorful history in music. Pam Fleming tours with Hazmat Modine; Jenny Hill tours regularly with Burning Spear and other reggae luminaries; Todd Isler played with Mike Gordon of Phish, Neil Thomas was part of New York City Zydeco pioneers Loup Garou, and toured with Blues Traveler, and the multi-talented pianist Dave Keyes has toured with Levon Helm, Bo Diddley, and Gladys Knight. And George Kilby toured and recorded with Pinetop Perkins of Muddy Waters Band for over a decade.

Kilby's Southern roots have always been part of his sound; and his yearly salute to Mardi Gras has found him leading this powerhouse band for 17 years running. His Fat Tuesday gigs in Brooklyn and Manhattan have been voted "Best Mardi Gras Party in NYC" several times.

Live in Concert!
with Stick Men
Rock (classic)
City Winery Hudson Valley
23 Factory Street
Montgomery, NY   See Map
City Winery Hudson Valley Presents Stick Men live on Febuaury 15th at 7:30pm

STICK MEN - Tony Levin and Pat Mastelotto, the powerhouse bass and drums of the group King Crimson for a few decades, bring that tradition to all their playing. Levin plays the Chapman Stick, from which the band takes it’s name. Having bass and guitar strings, the Chapman Stick functions at times like two instruments. Markus Reuter plays his self-designed touch style guitar – again covering much more ground than a guitar or a bass. And Mastelotto’s drumming encompasses not just the acoustic kit, but a unique electronic setup too, allowing him to add loops, samples, percussion, and more. Members of STICK MEN have recorded on albums that sold over 200 million records worldwide and all 4 individual members have played collectively in many different projects in past 5 decades in over 90 countries worldwide.

"spare tales with memorable words in small, short stories that a listener can relate to...angst & tragedy add up to a provocative piece. Most grunge/punk bands can't achieve this with a full band."-Americana Highways
