Welcome to “Our Band Show!" Live on Saturday, February 10th, 2024 on YouTube!!
We are a community oriented, web-based music show of like-minded individuals. Join us as we band together to celebrate the craft of visual music performance. We strive to create a warm, inviting space where talented creators can come together to amplify the story behind the artists. ShortWave RadioBand began in 2020 as a duo. Lonny and Andy would play cover tunes in the corner of local breweries and before too long, started to get booked at more and more places. At one of these gigs, they met John Woods. John mentioned that he was a drummer, lived locally and wanted to jam sometime. They jammed and after locking in on some songs, knew it was a match. At that first jam session, SWRB as a power-trio was born. Their music has been described as Punk, Garage, Rock and Reggae, all rolled into one. They are high energy songs that put more of an emphasis on making you move, than making you think. Watch live Saturday, February 10th at 7:30pm | ||

Thursday 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm | Live in Concert! with Stick Men Rock (classic) | City Winery Hudson Valley 23 Factory Street Montgomery, NY See Map |
City Winery Hudson Valley Presents Stick Men live on Febuaury 15th at 7:30pm
STICK MEN - Tony Levin and Pat Mastelotto, the powerhouse bass and drums of the group King Crimson for a few decades, bring that tradition to all their playing. Levin plays the Chapman Stick, from which the band takes it’s name. Having bass and guitar strings, the Chapman Stick functions at times like two instruments. Markus Reuter plays his self-designed touch style guitar – again covering much more ground than a guitar or a bass. And Mastelotto’s drumming encompasses not just the acoustic kit, but a unique electronic setup too, allowing him to add loops, samples, percussion, and more. Members of STICK MEN have recorded on albums that sold over 200 million records worldwide and all 4 individual members have played collectively in many different projects in past 5 decades in over 90 countries worldwide.
