White Plains, NY   See Map
Guy Davis is a two-time, back-to-back Grammy nominee for Best Traditional Blues, a musician, actor, author, and songwriter. Guy uses a blend of Roots, Blues, Folk, Rock, Rap, Spoken Word, and World Music to comment on, and address, the frustrations of social injustice, touching on historical events, and common life struggles. His background in theater is pronounced through the lyrical storytelling of songs “God’s Gonna Make Things Over” about the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, “Welcome to My World”, and “Got Your Letter In My Pocket”. His storytelling is sometimes painful, deep, and real, an earthy contrast to modern-day commercial music, meant to create thought, underlined by gentle tones from his guitar or banjo fingerpicking.

Poughkeepsie, NY   See Map
Welcome to “Our Band Show!" Live on Saturday, January 13th, 2024 on YouTube!!

We are a community oriented, web-based music show of like-minded individuals. Join us as we band together to celebrate the craft of visual music performance. We strive to create a warm, inviting space where talented creators can come together to amplify the story behind the artists.

King in Yellow is the brainchild of writers Nick Vining and Kyle McDonough. The pair set out to write music that was timeless, fresh and new. Music that spoke with a purpose in the grand scheme of it all. Music that was as violent and powerful as it was gentle and soft. Like a lead pipe wrapped in silk and velvet.

Combing the raw energy of late 60's, early 70's bands in a room recording styles they love. With the jangle pop and no wave arrangements of the early 80's acts like Sonic Youth and REM. They set out to make music that grabs you.

The Wildflowers: America’s #1 Tom Petty Tribute
Pop/Soft Rock
The Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center
231 Creamery Pond Rd
Chester, NY   See Map
Now in their 11th year together, The Wildflowers have become the most successful internationally touring tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Playing all the hits of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Tom Petty’s solo music, and even The Traveling Wilburys thrown in for good measure, with such precision, energy, and authentic southern charm, you have to see and hear The Wildflowers to believe it.

“Who doesn’t love Tom Petty?” bassist Darryell Stone asked himself one day in 2012 while listening to the radio. There was only one answer he could imagine, “Nobody.” Testing his hypothesis, Stone polled friends, family and fellow musicians how they felt about Petty. The result was always the same. Everyone loves Tom Petty.
