Flying Cat Music at Phoenicia United Methodist
29 Church Street
Phoenicia, NY   See Map
Unfortunately Reggie Harris, our originally scheduled artist for this evening, unavoidably had to cancel his appearance, but he asked his good friend and musical collaborator, Pat Wictor, to stand in for him and Pat graciously agreed.

Pat Wictor first burst on the folk and acoustic scene as an innovative slide guitarist known for fresh and memorable interpretations of traditional and contemporary songs For seven years he toured as one third of Brother Sun, the powerful harmonizing trio, garnering critical acclaim and two #1 CDs on the Folk DJ charts

Wictor’s newest recording, a concept album about political division in America titled FLARE, was called “brilliant” by WFUV’s John Platt, and reached #1 on the Folk-DJ charts in 2022.

"...While he can fingerpick like the best of them, he is an absolute madman on the lapsteel."

Brittainy Jean
Singer-Songwriter, Americana
Hootenanny Cafe Mini Concerts
Online and on the radio, NY   See Map
Brittany Jean is a folk singer/songwriter currently living in a little apple town in North Central Washington, and her style is rooted in the folk and Americana music she has loved all her life. During the past few years, her performances have ventured farther and farther from home (including playing the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee, opening for Three Dog Night’s sold out concert in New York City, performing at the Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas… to name a few adventures!). Brittany has released five studio albums and one EP—all recorded in Music City. Her Lightfoot EP was released Summer 2023, and this project is her “thank you” to an all-time favorite songwriter. Brittany’s sixth album (Colors & Covers) will be released Fall 2023.

With songs about a field of golden sunflowers and the coast of Ireland to songs about the wild at heart and a hidden cabin up north, every song she sings is a love song.
