Lawrence Anthony, affectionately known as "LA", combines Barry White, Teddy Pendergrass and James Brown, to get his signature style - "old school romance" and fiery funk! A bass/baritone singer, LA has performed with the legendary Intruders as well as on many "Motown Review" assignments. He is currently singing bass, invoking the spirit of Motown, with The Shadows of the 60's Tribute to the Temptations. In 2016 LA became a member of the world renowned "Persuasions", replacing the founding member bass singer, Jimi Hayes, who passed after a prolonged illness. He also founded LA Soul – a very high powered "Funk band", covering funk from the 60's to 70's.

LA also has been heard as a radio personality on his own "Quite Storm" show on 91.1 WOSS in New York and has been seen in commercials and on documentaries for public and commercial television.

They are back!
There is no other performer who looks and sounds so much like Elton John, nor any tribute act that provides the experience of being at an Elton John concert the way Gerald Brann and Yellow Brick Road do.
Brann, not only bears an uncanny resemblance to the international superstar — complete with gap-toothed smile and many of his mannerisms — but recreates Elton John’s vocals and playing to a tee. To capture the essence of the piano man, Brann dresses in replica costumes and wears Elton’s trademark outrageous glasses. A trained jazz pianist, Brann has been a lifelong Elton John fan, and his admiration for and love of his music comes shining through as he plays one hit after another with remarkable likeness to the pop music icon. Brann and his talented five-piece band evoke audience participation throughout the entire show — whether singing along to “Rocket Man” and “Your Song,” swaying to “Candle in the Wind,” or hopping and bopping to “Crocodile Rock.”

Salon Séance creates experiential concerts based on the idea that performing is an act of channeling. Together with the audience, they tell timeless human stories through music, storytelling, and interactive ritual, cultivating a sense of connection and meaning that is unique for each audience member.

The group will perform for us their presentation, The End of Time which combines music, storytelling, and origami to channel the spirits of four prisoners who transformed an ending into a new beginning. Allow the medium to deliver their messages and guide you to them through the music they created together: Olivier Messiaens’ Quartet for the End of Time.

Music is healing and can help soothe the soul. It can also help to find, unearth and bring out our INNER TRUTHS.
Music can also shine light on such conditions as: Sexuality. Mental Health. Consciousness, etc

These are some of the meta themes that run through the music of flamboyant LGBTQ2A indie-rocker 'Sail Cassady' who hails from Victoria, BC.

Like The National with a dash of Lou Reed, their debut album ‘Juniper’ documents the torture and delights of the artists own grueling process of self-discovery, and gives you a glimpse into the subterranean realms of the Sail Cassady consciousness.
“Lusting you, You’re lusting me, Lusting you, Against the tree..” Leather Shoe Lovers‘Juniper’ was self produced along with Bob Gronotte (JP Maurice, Stel, Towers and Trees, and Hawk and Steele L, Tal Bachman) and dropped on all platforms Aug 25th, 2023 on Surkeus Records.
