 Richie Goods is one of the most versatile and accomplished bass players on the scene. He has recorded and toured with the Headhunters, Louis Hayes and the Cannonball Adderley Legacy Band, Lenny White, Mulgrew Miller, Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera and Chris Botti to name a few.
Chien Chien Lu is a vibraphonist, percussionist, and composer from Taiwan. Classically trained and a former member of the internationally renowned Ju Percussion Group, she possesses an inherent sense of lyricism no matter the musical environment, whether it be swinging post-bop, avant-garde improv, or modern classical music.
Together, Goods and Lu formed CONNECTED in 2020 to create music that would unify people and invoke imagery of love and peace. This collaboration produced "The Path" and "We Three Kings" in 2020, and "Rain" 2021.

Tim Haufe is a songwriter and composer who lives in New York. He began writing music at an early age and has built a large library of original music. Growing up in Poughkeepsie, NY, he was exposed to the folk music leftover in the area from the 60's and 70's. He began performing in the Hudson Valley and NYC areas when he was 18. His influences range widely from folk to blues to jazz to rock to punk. All of those sounds come through in his music. His live shows are always intimate and inspiring.

Scofield is a masterful improviser whose music falls somewhere between post-bop, funk-edged jazz and R&B. He has prominently led his own groups in the international jazz and contemporary scenes, recorded more than 40 albums as a leader, and collaborated with current favorites and jazz legends, including Miles Davis, Pat Metheny, Charlie Haden, Herbie Hancock, Medeski, Martin & Wood, Bill Frisell, Brad Mehldau, Dave Holland and Phil Lesh, to name a few.
Cleveland native Joe Lovano stands out as one of the most successful saxophonists in jazz today. He has distinguished himself for some three decades as a prescient and pathfinding force in the arena of creative music. He has released 23 celebrated albums on the Blue Note label, including the 2008 Grammy-nominated Symphonica.

 The music presented by Bassist/Composer/Educator John Menegon, in collaboration with these exceptional musicians, pushes the boundaries of today’s music on the world stage. The intuitive, spontaneous nature of the music between the musicians in the Quartet is deeply rooted in the traditions that come out of the Free Bop era of Ornette Coleman, Dewey Redman, and Paul Motian, to name a few.
Some of the melodies will be freely interpreted, sometimes letting the form create itself, using melodic and harmonic expression relying in the trust of each player’s deep knowledge of improvisation. The group will be exploring some odd meters and different grooves, and will include Menegon’s original compositions as well as music by Dewey Redman (Boop Boo Doop, Dewey’s Tune, Joie De Vivre).
