Josh Dion (drums, keyboard, vocals…all at the same time) & Geoff Kraly (bass & synth). The sound, beat-driven. Employing heavy elements of funk and soul, paris_monster closes a gap between synthesized sound & garage; between modern detail and old-school grit. Solid earth. Soaring soundscapes. A mass of noise. Volatility. Vocal singularity.

Sound of a Smirk is a four-piece rock band hailing from Hudson Valley, New York.

Lead singer Jesse’s quiet croons, harsh yells, and catchy choruses displays emotion-rich songwriting at the forefront.

To build out the sound, mix in a prominent rhythm section with Nick’s pulsing drum beats combined with the grooving and growling bass from Peter. The final ingredient is the soaring and sometimes cutting leads from guitarist Brian.
