Cassidy Dickens is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter originally from the mountains of southern West Virginia. Surrounded by Appalachia’s colorful storytelling, front porch picking, and rich vocal harmonies from day one, Cassidy has always been enamored by the singular power of music to capture fleeting memories and raw emotion. This lifelong enchantment has inspired a musical catalog overflowing with love, heartbreak, home, and other universal-yet-intensely-personal themes.
Cassidy’s debut album, Ghosts, released in 2014, earned her nominations for Beachcomber Magazine Music Awards’ Best Album & Female Vocalist of the Year. She then moved to Nashville in 2017 and co-produced her sophomore album, Anxious Love, with Californian artist/producer Ben Justus. Ukrainian Pianist Anna Fedorova to perform at Shandelee Music Festival
The Shandelee Music Festival (SMF) continues the celebration of its 30th anniversary season with “An Evening of Solo Piano” performed by Anna Fedorova on Thursday, August 17. Ukrainian pianist Anna Fedorova exhibited innate musical maturity and technical abilities from an early age. She regularly performs at concert halls around the world including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris and London’s Royal Albert Hall. The August 17th concert at the SMF will feature music by Chopin, Grieg, Schumann and Sylvestrov. Tickets for are $35 for adults, $30 for SMF members, and $10.00 for students 17 and under. Bittersweet Descent is comprised of Mark Grossman (guitar/vocals), Krisana Soponpong (bass), Jamie Altieri (guitar/vocals), and Pat DePellonia (drums). The band's primary focus is crafting and performing original, genre-busting, high-energy material with which any audience can instantly connect. Live shows are also peppered with covers of a variety of alternative and classic rock bands, along with folk, country, and punk covers. The band, with former drummer Jesse Weiss, recorded a six-song EP which is being released, and the title track is now available for streaming on all platforms. Grossman and Soponpong, along with drummer Chris Perna, worked together to record six singles of Grossman's original material, which are all available under his name on all streaming platforms, and which served as the songs that launched Bittersweet Descent's catalogue of original songs.

We are a community oriented, web-based music show of like-minded individuals. Join us as we band together to celebrate the craft of visual music performance. We strive to create a warm, inviting space where talented creators can come together to amplify the story behind the artists. Sound of a Smirk is a four-piece rock band hailing from Hudson Valley, New York. Lead singer Jesse’s quiet croons, harsh yells, and catchy choruses displays emotion-rich songwriting at the forefront. To build out the sound, mix in a prominent rhythm section with Nick’s pulsing drum beats combined with the grooving and growling bass from Peter. The final ingredient is the soaring and sometimes cutting leads from guitarist Brian. Laurel Canyon is an acoustic tribute to the music of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, featuring recreations of their seminal works as well as songs from their early bands and their solo years.
