City Winery Hudson Valley Concert In the Vineyard Series presents Judy Collins live on Sunday, July 2nd at 2 PM.

In her 50-plus years in music, Judy Collins has always exhibited impeccable taste in songcraft. On her landmark 1967album, Wildflowers, she curated a stunning collection featuring originals alongside songs by not-yet household names such as Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen, and adventurous selections by Jacques Brel and Francesco Landini. Her discerning palette, and her literary gifts, have enabled her to evolve into a poetic, storyteller songwriter. Now, in her 6th decade as a singer and songwriter, Judy is experiencing a profound level of growth and prolific creativity.

The cultural treasure’s 55th release, Spellbound, out February 25, 2022, finds Judy enjoying an artistic renaissance. The 13 song album is a special entry in her oeuvre. It marks the first time ever she wrote all the songs on one of her albums. It features 12 new recently-w

Chatham, NY   See Map
Approaching their 30th anniversary as torchbearers of Puerto Rican plena, bomba, and salsa fused with Afro-Caribbean traditions, Plena Libre boasts 15 LPs and 4 Grammy and Latin Grammy nominations and a reputation for scintillating performances that deliver on their promise of unbeatable Latin dance parties. The Boston Herald calls Plena Libre’s music “a mad weave of polyrhythms that simply sizzle.”

The band blends traditional Puerto Rican Plena rhythms with modern Afro-Caribbean influences in their contemporary compositions. They mix a hard-hitting horn section, master hand drummers, and lush vocal harmonies into a modern blend. They’ve toured the world from Morocco to California and everywhere in between, and recorded with some of the biggest names in Latin music, including Eddie Palmieri, Papo Lucca (La Sonora Ponceña), and Nestor Torres.

Amber Ikeman

Hootenanny Cafe Mini Concerts
Online and on the radio, NY   See Map
Amber Ikeman’s music is water, quenching your soul and soothing your heart. Inspired by the legacy of powerful truth-telling songstresses like Joni Mitchell, Jewel, and Joan Baez, Ikeman’s songwriting is imbued with the knowledge that without rain, there is no life—that growth and change only come from weathering the storms that will inevitably come. Images from her years as a nomad wandering the western United States, and residing in Wyoming and Montana, give a living backdrop to her lyrics of self-discovery, resilience, wildness, and women’s issues. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Amber has toured all across the United States and parts of Canada, earning praise from audiences and tastemakers alike. Songs off of her first full length album, Rise, earned the 2017 Vic Heyman Songwriting Award from the South Florida Folk Festival and the 2018 John O’Hara Outstanding Folk Song Grant. She released "Wild and Uneven," an EP themed around body liberation and mental health, in March of 2023.

Evocative Jazz, Exotic Lounge
with Duo Loco; Studio Stu & Brian Melick
Jazz, Alternative, and Contemporary. Evocative Jazz, Exotic Lounge
Kingston Farmers Market
John Street & Crown Street
Kingston, NY   See Map
Duo Loco is the most basic form of jazz, interpretation, drum and bass/voice duo, a sort of, ‘Duja Vey’ (the feeling that none of this ever happened before).

This eccentric jazz duo takes the very best in classic jazz and pop, and twists and bends them into what they call ‘evocative jazz, exotic lounge’. In this ‘duo virtuosi’, nothing is sacred.....improv is rampant...lyrics are changed at will...notes and chords are bent and perverted...familiar languages are obliterated....harmonies are sweet and sour perfection, and yet, serious, sophisticated and uncompromising in execution. The is one in-tune, out-of-tune, offbeat outfit.

Come enjoy original tunes written and performed by head brewer & farm owner Evan Watson!
Did you know, the name of the brewery was born out of Evan’s music career?
Evan moved to NYC in 2007 after graduating from college in Ohio to work with producer/songwriter Peter Zizzo. Within a year Evan entered a record deal and shortly after delivered his debut Album "A Town Called Blue". In 2009, Evan assembled a New York based band and began touring throughout the country including Bonnaroo & 10K Lakes Music festivals. Slowly building credibility playing regularly at NYC clubs like The Bitter End, Arlene's Grocery, Rockwood Music Hall, & The Bowery Electric. After years on the road opening at large venues for performers like Heart, Def Leppard, Meatloaf, OAR, Spin Doctors, & appearing on The Voice Season 7, Evan decided to pursue his passion in the world of beer. That is how his Plan A music career became his Plan B brewery career!
