 Award winning songwriter Brian Kalinec has been called "a combination of Woody Guthrie, John Steinbeck, James Taylor, and Rodney Crowell in the stories he tells" in a review in music magazine Rootsy. Tom Pacheco says of Brian’s songs on The Fence "...these songs resonate in our own times. I'm sure Woody would have loved them... he sings, writes, and plays so seamlessly that it feels these songs have always been there." He was the winner of the Songwriter Serenade Competition and the Big Top Chautauqua Song Contest and took second place in the Woody Guthrie Song Contest. Brian has appeared at numerous festivals including the Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas and Belladrum in Scotland and at well-known venues across the USA and the UK. and he will be performing in Europe this summer. His newest album, The Beauty of it All, is releasing in June 2023. |

The Any Night Ramblers are a fun four-piece band (2 acoustic guitars, keyboards, and bass) that play classic folk, pop, and rock, including Pink Floyd, The Police, Grateful Dead, and Tom Petty, plus a huge variety of entertaining folk, soft rock, and Irish pub songs. They have recurring gigs at Sullivan House in Wurtsboro and 17 West Brewery in Liberty, as well as experience playing at Pierson’s Farm, Baldwin Winery, Otisville Fair, fundraisers, and private parties.  Former RCA Records recording artist, Julius Dilligard, Jr., was the lead singer with the internationally famous recording group Crown Heights Affair. He sang lead vocals on their first album. Their hit single, "Dreaming a Dream" was in the Billboard Top 100 Dand & R&B charts. He is a singer, songwriter and musician. Over the years he has performed on stages with such acts as the Main Ingredients, The Commodores, Maxine Nightingale, Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, and many others.

Did you know, the name of the brewery was born out of Evan’s music career?
Evan moved to NYC in 2007 after graduating from college in Ohio to work with producer/songwriter Peter Zizzo. Within a year Evan entered a record deal and shortly after delivered his debut Album "A Town Called Blue". In 2009, Evan assembled a New York based band and began touring throughout the country including Bonnaroo & 10K Lakes Music festivals. Slowly building credibility playing regularly at NYC clubs like The Bitter End, Arlene's Grocery, Rockwood Music Hall, & The Bowery Electric. After years on the road opening at large venues for performers like Heart, Def Leppard, Meatloaf, OAR, Spin Doctors, & appearing on The Voice Season 7, Evan decided to pursue his passion in the world of beer. That is how his Plan A music career became his Plan B brewery career!

At La Voz party, we'll have a dance class (in case anyone needs a refresher) with teacher Elizabeth Liotta, and live music with the Afro-Colombian ensemble Rebolú. Have you heard them yet? With their repertoire of traditional songs and original compositions, Rebolú fills us with energy and a strong desire to dance. The Resistance Revival Chorus (RRC) is a collective of more than 60 women and non-binary singers who join together to breathe joy and song into the resistance, and to uplift and center women’s voices. In celebration of Juneteenth, the collective will be performing a free concert, outdoors at Promenade Hill Park in Hudson.
Before the concert at 11 AM, join the chorus for a singing workshop and panel discussion at Lightforms Art Center in Hudson, NY. Sign up here for the workshop!
Chorus members are based in New York City and work as touring musicians, film and television actors, Broadway performers, solo recording artists, gospel singers, political activists, educators, filmmakers, artists, and more, representing a multitude of identities, professions, creative backgrounds, and activist causes. The chorus centers women and non-binary folks in music, and address how historically marginalized women have been in the music industry.
