Pianist, bassist and composer Howard Britz has worked in the Jazz, Afro-Cuban, Gospel and Brazilian traditions with artists including, Danilo Perez, Kenny Werner, Jon Hendricks and Annie Ross.

In his fifth CD as leader ("Comfort and Joy"), the NY based musician brings together a set of music written during the lockdown months of 2021, reflecting some of the most important things in life: friendship, the ability to experience joy, and a sense of fun. Joined by melodic, swinging bassist Don Falzone and the solid and versatile drummer Eric Halvorson, the trio is a tight unit creating original music that is melodic, open hearted, emotionally satisfying and feel good.

Midwest Records' Chris Spector says of HOWARD BRITZ TRIO/Comfort and Joy: "A multi-instrumentalist leads a piano trio through a smart set of originals and loads the deck with mildly left leaning sensibilities. A nice adventurous ride loaded with twists and turns."

Welcome to “Our Band Show!" Live on Saturday, January 14th, 2023 on YouTube!!

We are a community oriented, web-based music show of like-minded individuals. Join us as we band together to celebrate the craft of visual music performance. We strive to create a warm, inviting space where talented creators can come together to amplify the story behind the artists.

What? is a funk septet hailing out of the Hudson Valley of New York.

Drawing influence from the serene landscape of the Catskills that inspired the likes of The Band and Donald Fagan, What? bridges the gap between R&B groove and improvisational jam.

Compared to the likes of Stevie Wonder, Lawrence, Phish and Snarky Puppy, What?’s eclectic taste in music lays the framework for a night that spans multiple genres.

With a constantly growing following, What? is known to bring high energy, infectious melodies and soulful grooves with their power-house horn trio each time they grace the stage.
