Her parents moved to Sao Paulo when she was still very young and Ana grew up under the influence of Samba and several other rhythms like MPB (Brazilian popular music), Bossa Nova, Xote, Baioa, Xaxado, Pop music, Carimbo, as wells as American soul, blues and jazz. Ana moved to NY 10 years ago and has sung in legendary places like Zinc Bar, SOBs', Cafe Wha, Bronx Zoo, Queens Botanical Garden, the Jazz Forum and others. $20.
