Premik, internationally acclaimed composer, arranger, producer and accomplished multi-instrumentalist will perform, along with Steve Sandberg (piano), Michael O'Brien (bass), Patrick Carmichael (drums), and Todd Isler (percussion).

Premik has worked with music greats Carlos Santana, Whitney Houston, Herbie Hancock, and Jackson Brown, played Sting's 2008 Rainforest Concert at Carnegie Hall, and toured extensively with Russian legend Boris Grebenshikov. Last year he also performed at NYC's Jazz at Lincoln Center.

The genre, Gypsy Jazz, is said to have been started by guitarist Jean "Django" Reinhardt in the 1930s. The style has often called by the French name Jazz Manouche or by more simply, Hot Jazz.

Described as “Jerry Lee Lewis meets Beethoven”, Matt Nakoa captivates audiences with his virtuoso piano playing, wicked guitar riffs, stunning tenor vocals, and award-winning emotionally authentic songs.

A review in the Boston Globe states “between his piano chops, charismatic stage presence, and heartfelt originals on guitar, he drops jaws." 

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, where he received a scholarship for vocals, Matt is a 2014 winner of the prestigious Kerrville Festival New Folk songwriting competition. He tours regularly with Tom Rush who calls him “a black-belt musical wizard,” adding, "I'm hoping he'll let me open for him when he's doing stadiums."

The concert will be inside the Phoenicia United Methodist Church (not the attached hall ). $18 advance tickets can be bought online at Flying Cat's website or tickets will be available for $20 (cash only) at the door, Masks must be worn during the show.

Meg Tennant is a Canadian songwriter originally from Northern Ontario and currently based in Vancouver, British Columbia. She has performed at festivals and songwriter showcases, and has opened shows for Eliza Gilkyson and Tom Russell at Vancouver’s Rogue Folk Club.

Her latest CD, “Echoed Light”, co-produced with Toronto roots rock songwriter Mark Ripp, offers up some hope, comfort and clarity. “Echoed Light” was included in Roots Music Canada’s list of 11 Favourite New Discoveries of 2019.

Meg's songs have been recorded and performed by Canadian folk, ragtime and bluegrass artists, and her A Capella song “Bucket of Love” continues to be performed by choirs in Canada, the U.S., Australia and Sweden.
