	On this weekend in June, the Freedom Park Bandshell in LaGrangeville will be the venue for a swinging "Ella and Frank, Big Band Style" show presented by The Big Band Sound 25-piece jazz orchestra, including six vocalists and swing dance performers, and it will benefit the Sparrow's Nest local charity. Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra collectively recorded more than three thousand different songs during the Golden Age of Popular Music. This original show will spotlight the best of those songs: the songs at the core of the Great American Songbook, all in the most exciting setting of a live big band. Performances are Friday, June 3rd at 6 p.m. and Saturday, June 4th at 6 p.m. and although tickets won't be required for entry, the suggested donation is $20 per person with proceeds benefiting the Sparrow's Nest charity. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Sean has lived in New York City since 2017, where he is a Jazz at Lincoln Center Emerging Artist, leading his own ensemble and a much sought-after sideman. He has been featured in Ellington Through the Ages with Wynton Marsalis and in Danny Barker: A New Orleans Life in Jazz, alongside a who’s who of New Orleans’ musical elite.
