 Carole Wise is a singer/songwriter from Brunswick Maine. Her music is sweet and soulful, drawing on a lifelong passion for education, the beauty of the natural world, and the adventures of finding truth through life's challenges. Her music is also organic - grown and nurtured from the seed of a feeling or a visual. "I do not chase a song," Carole says. Nature is where her spirit thrives and meditative walks are often the source of the seeds - as in the hawk she watched soaring above - that was the seed from New Frontier. Once planted in her mind and heart, Carole gifts it the time to grow.

The Mahavishnu Orchestra blazed out of the left field at the beginning of the 70s with something very new: jazz-rock fusion. They had a foot in both camps but belonged to neither. After several years on hiatus, The Mahavishnu Project returns to perform their interpretations of the classic music of "guitar god" Jeff Beck.
Well-known for reaching into jazz-rock beyond the John McLaughlin-led originals to include songs of Jeff Beck, featuring guitar virtuoso - Beck music authority and Beck’s transcriptionist of choice - Jesse Gress (Todd Rundgren), with Neil Alexander (keys, The Machine) and Zoe Zeeman (bass, Jerry Marotta Band) with drummer and bandleader Gregg Bendian - well-known for his work with Todd Rundgren, Pat Metheny, Nels Cline, Ornette Coleman and John Zorn.
The Mahavishnu Project was founded by Bendian in 2001, during a time when far less respect and attention was being paid to “classic jazz-rock fusion".
The band has remained the only ensemble to have the blessing, praise, and gratitude of every original Mahavishnu Orchestra members, including founder, guitarist and composer John McLaughlin.

Ranging from his well-known compositions such as "I've Got You Under My Skin" and "Just One of Those Things" to a repertoire of never recorded tunes, Porter was known for his bold choices. What better way to honor his boldness than with arrangements that bring out the music in a new, contemporary way. The quartet will include Fima Chupakhin on piano, James Robbins on bass and Juan Chiavassa on drums.

Which musician did Aretha Franklin definitely NOT want missing from the line-up when she recorded her most inspired albums at the beginning of the seventies. Who provided the back-beat for Steely Dan's "Aja", and for whom have Isaac Hayes, Donny Hathaway, B.B. King, "Sweet" Lou Donaldson, Joe Cocker and Hank Crawford reserved that stool behind the drum kit? The list is incomplete; it must be, because no other drummer in the last three decades has seen the interior of a recording studio as often as Bernard "Pretty" Purdie. A native of Elkton, Maryland - Purdie has laid down the beat on over 3000 albums to date.
The legendary drummer's style is described as the "funkiest soul beat" in the business. Purdie has never limited his talents, but has consistently sought out new musical experiences, anchoring sessions with the Rolling Stones, James Brown and Tom Jones with equal ease. "DRIVE" and "GROOVE" are definitely not missing from his vocabulary.
