BOTE is the most exact interpretation of the music of the Eagles in America, bar none! Each member mirrors his counterpart in the Eagles instrumentally and vocally. However, this is no simple copy band or impersonator act but rather a group of excellent musicians who expertly and authentically re-create the songs, the music, the vocals and the magical aura of one of America’s greatest rock bands. After selling out many venues in the region including the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, NJ, BOTE looks forward to sharing a great night of Eagles hits.

Bettye Lavette LIVE at Bearsville Theater

Hailed by the New York Times as one of the great soul interpreters of her generation, Bettye LaVette is a vocalist who can take any type of song and make it completely her own. To quote the late, great George Jones, “Bettye is truly a singer’s singer.” On these intimate shows, Bettye is accompanied by her keyboard player, Evan Mercer. She will be performing songs from throughout her 59 year career, including songs that she used to perform in small Detroit clubs before her 21st Century resurgence began. Some of these songs she does not perform with her full band.

FEATURING~

JT BOWEN
https://www.facebook.com/JTBowenSoulSinger/

In 1981, Clarence Clemons asked Bowen to join him as lead vocalist for the Red Bank Rockers, where he sang on their debut album Rescue, which featured “Woman Got the Power” and a Bruce Springsteen composition, “Savin’ Up”.

They toured between 1981–84, including an appearance on Alan Thicke’s TV show Thicke of the Night. During this period, Bowen lent his vocals to Little Steven & the Disciples of Souls album Men Without Women, the Bruce Springsteen-produced Gary U.S. Bonds album On the Line and the Garry Tallent of the E Street Band-produced album We’ve Got the Love.

One of the highlights of Bruce Springsteen’s 1985 Born in the USA multi-night Meadowland’s engagement was JT’s appearance singing “Woman’s Got the Power” alongside Springsteen. Bowen had fronted many bands as well during this period: notably The Shore Patrol with Asbury Jukes Saxophone player Ed Manion and former E Street drummer Ernest Carter. In the early 90’s, he toured Japan with the band Joey Leone’s Chop Shop.

His 2016 release of OUT OF THE SHADOWS, his first solo record is getting him the renewed attention he so richly deserves. Produced and written by Mark Ribler { MD of the Darlene Love and Little Steven Bands }

"Ms. Thomas has a strong voice and a big range, descended from Sarah Vaughan and Betty Carter and routed through Dianne Reeves, with clarity and confidence and a little dirt." - Ben Ratliff, The New York Times

Video | I Keep my Stove in Good Condition - Brianna Thomas, Michael Mwenso and THE SHAKES
https://youtu.be/03859_fw5gw

https://www.briannathomas.com/

Thomas’s singing is deeply enriched by an understanding of the masterful voices of jazz past. Beyond a healthy serving of sass, Sarah Vaughn’s influence contributes to Brianna’s style the artistic savvy needed to communicate myriad moods and feelings as well as a keen instrumental perspective. Add to that a coyness reminiscent of Nancy Wilson, an Ella-esque skill and enthusiasm for scatting, and the stylistic breadth and vocal grandeur evocative of Dianne Reeves. Perhaps Brianna’s greatest asset is the soulfulness of her sound. Captivatingly unique, her sound moves in tones ranging from sweet invitations to assured convictions, establishing a personal and classic quality that leaves listeners swooning after her performances.

Brianna has blazed a path in the world of jazz and continues a stellar ascent. With dedication, hard work, and a sparkling personality, Brianna is sure to become one of jazz’s most prominent voices. The words of legendary trombonist Curtis Fuller best illustrate Brianna Thomas’ abilities, hailing her as a “marvelous new artist who has all it takes to reach the top of the jazz profession and music in general.”

Online and on the radio, NY   See Map
Carole Wise is a singer/songwriter from Brunswick Maine. Her music is sweet and soulful, drawing on a lifelong passion for education, the beauty of the natural world, and the adventures of finding truth through life's challenges. Her music is also organic - grown and nurtured from the seed of a feeling or a visual. "I do not chase a song," Carole says. Nature is where her spirit thrives and meditative walks are often the source of the seeds - as in the hawk she watched soaring above - that was the seed from New Frontier. Once planted in her mind and heart, Carole gifts it the time to grow.

Cadenza of Freeport, Maine states, "Carole is a dedicated, talented singer/songwriter who offers provocative lyrics to encourage us to engage in the world around us. Her style is comfortable and honest. Her musical talent and experience is obvious."

Carole's most recent release "Long Way Home" charted as No. 18 on Folk Radio in November 2021, and keeps moving forward from there.
