The Rhythm Method is a wild ride through the interpretation of jazz music, a sort of, ‘Duja Vey’ (the feeling that none of this ever happened before).
This eccentric jazz trio takes the very best in classic jazz and originals, and twists and bends them into what they call ‘jazz unstandards’. In this ‘trio virtuosi’, nothing is sacred.....improv is rampant...lyrics are changed at will...notes and chords are bent and perverted...familiar languages are obliterated....harmonies are sweet and sour perfection, and yet, serious, sophisticated and uncompromising in execution. The is one in-tune, out-of-tune, offbeat outfit. Explore

By age 13 he was playing open mics and writing songs, honing his live chops as a solo blues player. At 14, he got a job emptying trash cans at Levon Helm's celebrated Midnight Ramble events in exchange for free admission. “I’d sit right behind Levon and watch him play,” he recalls. “It taught me so much." Kennedy is now now a member of jazz rock icon Steely Dan’s touring band, after sitting with the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers on a number of occasions. Connor was first scouted by Steely Dan co-founder Donald Fagen in 2012 when Kennedy performed at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock as a special guest with Lindsey Webster. After Kennedy sat in with the Dukes of September, a super-group that included Fagen, Boz Scaggs, and Michael McDonald, for a single song called Pretzel Logic at the Beacon Theatre, he was invited to join Fagen’s side project, Donald Fagen & the Nightflyers, on its 2017 tour, which included Ulster County-based rhythm section, The Restless Age - Brandon Morrison, Will Bryant and Lee Falco.

Peter More https://petermoremusic.net/ Steely Dan's Donald Fagen only bothers with an outside collaboration if the chemistry is instantaneous. Enter Austin singer-songwriter Peter More, a previous member of Brooklyn folk-rock act Oh Whitney whom Fagen met (and later jammed with at a hotel restaurant) while vacationing in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. After playing together a few times, an intrigued Fagen offered to produce More’s debut solo LP, Beautiful Disrepair (2018). - Rolling Stone Texas-bred singer/songwriter Peter More and his bandmates have called many places home over their decade long career. Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, More joined forces with Spanish flamenco guitarist José Juan Poyatos, Mexican bassist Diego Noyola, and French-American drummer Adrien Faunce in San Miguel de Allende, the colonial arts haven three hours north of Mexico City. A chance encounter with Steely Dan’s Donald Fagen and his wife Libby Titus, who happened to be visiting San Miguel, led to Fagen producing More’s debut album, “Beautiful Disrepair”, and a follow-up EP entitled “Shoulder”. Following two years of nationwide and international touring, More has announced the release of two new singles featuring former Fugees collaborator and Grammy winning producer John Forté (2020). The singles mark an exciting evolution in More’s songwriting and arranging. At turns contemplative and rousing, More's music is precisely executed, yet manages to feel original and uncomplicated; Music you want to hum along with and also hang on to every single line. It's a rare thing to share the stage with great talent like that young lady" - B.B. King "She is one of those wonderful spirits, she's got her arms around you; you can feel that." - Levon Helm Fully integrating the depth and warmth of Gospel music with the the grit and deeper sensuality of the Blues, this release blends them seamlessly into a masterpiece of modern day Blues music. I love the way they roll, with this release. This will set them apart from the crowd, and earn them many new fans while cementing their place among the elite of the Blues. - Chef Jimi Patricola - Blues411 “Without a doubt the biggest voice and heart in the blues world today.” - Richard Briggs, Pres/Founder, Briggs Farm Blues Festival www.alexispsuter.com Three-time Blues Music Award nominee, Suter was raised in Brooklyn, NY by a musically gifted family, and infused with the passion and the belief that music is an emotional and spiritual experience. On the gospel tune “I Just Got Off That Devil’s Train” - a duet on their most recent CD, "Be Love", Alexis joins with her 96 year old mother, gospel singer, Carrie Suter. Miss Suter brings love and energy in abundance to each of her performances. Audiences may dance and sing along to rollicking roots songs or funky blues numbers, and later are wiping tears, stirred by an awe-inspiring version of "Let it Be", one of many songs that touch deeply. Alexis and her band are not just another musical act, but an energetic, emotional experience that fans return to time after time. The core band, fellow Brooklyn natives Raymond Grappone (drummer) and Vicki Bell, (vocals and percussion) have been making music together for nearly twenty years. Grappone and Bell own and operate the Hipbone Records label. Accomplished musician and fellow Brooklyn native, Michael Louis joins the band as lead guitarist. This was the magical combination of talents needed to open musical doors and lift the band to new levels. Be Love Promo: https://youtu.be/H1GFoqjkpvE
