Rob Schiff - Guitar, Vocals
Tom Pirozzi - Bass

Gratefully Yours has quickly established itself as one of the Northeast’s premier Grateful Dead cover bands; with an all-star lineup performing “dream” set lists submitted by their fans.

Founded in 2012 by Alex Mazur, of The Deadbeats - one of the longest-running Grateful Dead cover bands. The lineup includes Adam Czolowski (Sonic Garden), Tom Pirozzi (Ominous Seapods), Jeff Martinson (Shakedown) and Rob Schiff (Nailed Shutt), Vinnie Amico (moe.), Rob Eaton (Dark Star Orchestra), Russ Lawton (Trey Anastasio Band), Bill Carbone (Max Creek) and Zach Nugent (Cats Under The Stars).

The Dead were unique, as was the bond with their audience. MAGIC and MUSIC! It is the MAGIC that Gratefully Yours pays tribute to. The band encourages their audience to participate in the creative process, offering the Dead community an opportunity to submit, or vote for, their dream setlists online - from which the band chooses to perform at their shows. You never know what might happen…

The Rhythm Method is a wild ride through the interpretation of jazz music, a sort of, ‘Duja Vey’ (the feeling that none of this ever happened before).

This eccentric jazz trio takes the very best in classic jazz and originals, and twists and bends them into what they call ‘jazz unstandards’. In this ‘trio virtuosi’, nothing is sacred.....improv is rampant...lyrics are changed at will...notes and chords are bent and perverted...familiar languages are obliterated....harmonies are sweet and sour perfection, and yet, serious, sophisticated and uncompromising in execution. Since 2014, contemporary jazz band Spin Cycle has been bringing their original music to clubs and concert halls across the US and Canada. Co-lead by Scott Neumann (Drums) and Tom Christensen (Tenor and Soprano Sax), the band highlights their flexibility, reach and capacity to surprise their audiences. On any given song, you might encounter the modal influence of John Coltrane, the second-line funk of New Orleans, or the edgy experimentation of free jazz.

Featuring guitarist Pete McCann and bassist Phil Palombi, both bandleaders and well-respected artists in their own right, Spin Cycle has spent the last 7 years touring, recording, and providing educational workshops at colleges. The band’s fourth CD will be released soon on their label, Sound Footing Records.

Their song “Steady Ground” is a featured exclusive on Amazon Acoustics playlist, and their vinyl EP, Cluster of Pearls was chosen as one of the 300 select releases throughout the world for Record Store Day 2016.

The band has toured extensively in the US and Europe, headlining and supporting The Counting Crows, Citizen Cope, The Zombies, Jackie Greene, Heartless Bastards, Rich Robinson of Black Crowes, and Jesse Malin, and building an impressive fan base on both continents.

FEATURING:
Sam Smith: Bass, Guitar, Keys, Vocoder & Vocals
Andrew Jordan: Guitar
Jongyoon Lee: Guitar
Bryan Ponton: Piano
Steve Frieder: Saxophone
Joe Spinelli: Drums

Art Thief's latest release - Tough Crowd - offers the ensemble's bassist and leader, Sam Smith an opportunity to present new and old takes on the role of the bass guitar. Sub bass rumbles, layered bass solos, lush chordal playing, and bass driven vocoding are a few of the cornerstones of “Tough Crowd.”

Combined with lyrics that are part Claypool, part science fiction, harmonies layered with color, and a James Brown enthusiasm, “Tough Crowd” is an instant earworm, and Art Thief is a musical force to be reckoned with.

With a schedule of live streams ahead and a wave of art-themed music videos being unveiled to promote Tough Crowd, Art Thief is ready to make some noise.
