Sunday 9:00 pm to 10:30 pm | Paul Kaplan Singer-Songwriter, Folk/Traditional, and Americana | Hootenanny Cafe Mini Concerts Online and on the radio, NY See Map |
Veteran musician and songwriter Paul Kaplan (www.paulkaplanmusic.com) has just released his fifth album, “We Shall Stay Here.” It contains twelve songs that reflect the way he sees the world. Some may leave you in stitches; some may leave you in tears; some may leave you in your car in the driveway unable to stop listening. All in all, the album, which features backup from Jay Ungar and Molly Mason and a duet with John Roberts, represents a ray of light and hope coming out of what has been a bleak time.
Paul’s career of over fifty years has brought him many honors. But the greatest honor comes from those who have sung his songs, including Sally Rogers, Nickelodeon stars Sharon, Lois and Bram (The Elephant Show), Claudia Schmidt, Jay Ungar and Molly Mason, Lui Collins, Cilla Fisher and Artie Trezise, Priscilla Herdman and countless others. Pete Seeger said “I am a big fan of Paul Kaplan. I love his singing; I love his songs.” Listen to Paul on “Hootenanny Cafe” and found out why. | ||
