Sunday 9:00 pm to 10:30 pm | Joe Peters Singer-Songwriter. Folk rock | Hootenanny Cafe Mini Concerts Online: www.wtbq.com or 93.5FM, NY See Map |
| Joe Peters is an American singer-songwriter who has released fifteen CDs of original folk-rock music since 1998. Joe grew up in the Midwest during the late 60s and early 70s, and his songs hearken back to a time when young people sought the experience of peace, love and adventure and expressed this search in the music they made and listened to. Through his own music, Joe hopes to rekindle in others that spark of the truth seeker that was awakened in him long ago by the songs of other introspective songwriters. Some of Joe’s songs are influenced by oriental philosophies and were written while living and working overseas as an academic in Asia and Africa. Joe’s musical companions include his long-time collaborator in The Joedai Warriors, Michael Kelsey, Guitar Center’s 2004 Guitarmageddon winner for best unsigned guitarist in America, as well as vocalists Linda Hicks, Amanda Fletcher, Lee Anna Atwell and Nicky Kerr. | ||
