| Latin Grammy-winner Pedro Giraudo and his acclaimed Tango Trio return for BridgeMusik's special virtual presentation of “The Story of Tango.” The Trio (with Rodolfo Zanetti bandoneon and Ahmed Alom piano) will be joined by renowned musicians from Lincoln Center and Broadway orchestras: Tanya Witek (flute), Krystof Witek and Kevin Matson (violin), Desiree Elsevier (viola) and Fred Zlotkin (cello). The cast of over sixty includes many special guest performers such as Bob McGrath from Sesame Street, Juilliard faculty member Carol Wincenc and talented students from our local schools. The program traces the history of the tango and includes new commentary by our featured artists. The footage is a combination of brand new recordings created by the artists from their quarantines around the world, as well as footage which was recorded live in 2019 in the beautiful acoustics of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Pearl River, NY.
