	The 90-voice Warwick Valley Chorale will offer three performances of its 79th annual Winter concerts. Led by conductor Stanley Curtis and accompanied by Gail Johnson, the concerts will be highlighted by a cantata, A Christmas Celebration, by contemporary California composer Henry Mollicone. The cantata is an eight-movement work combining narration and singing with texts taken from the Bible and poetry from the 18th and 19th centuries. Composer Mollicone will appear as guest conductor of his work for the final concert in Warwick. Also featured on the program will be arrangements of four Christmas gospels, a twelve-selection medley of seasonal favorites and traditional carols.

	Larry Federman and Chris Walsh are two musicians who have been gigging around the Hudson Valley and beyond for over 40 years. Since 1973, Larry has played guitar with numerous bands from Nashville to New York, and has recorded with, and/or shared the stage with many country artists. His music has taken him across the US and across the pond. Chris has been doing solo gigs since the 1980s, and is a founding member of the Hudson Valley band, “Thunder Ridge”, which began playing gigs in 1993. Larry joined the band in 2001, and the two have been lighting up the stage together with TR ever since. Recently, they decided to see what they could do as a duo. So in addition to working with “Thunder Ridge”, they are now also playing under the name, “Gray Matter”. During the 1960s and ’70s, Muldaur made a series of highly influential recordings as a founding member of the Jim Kweskin Jug Band and the Paul Butterfield’s Better Days group, as well as collaborations with then-wife Maria Muldaur and other notables (Bonnie Raitt, Eric Von Schmidt, Jerry Garcia). He has composed scores for film and television, and produced off-beat albums for the likes of Lenny Pickett and the Borneo Horns and the Richard Greene String Quartet. His definitive recording of “Brazil” provided the seed for—and was featured in—Terry Gilliam’s film of the same title. 	The 90-voice Warwick Valley Chorale will offer three performances of its 79th annual Winter concerts. Led by conductor Stanley Curtis and accompanied by Gail Johnson, the concerts will be highlighted by a cantata, A Christmas Celebration, by contemporary California composer Henry Mollicone. The cantata is an eight-movement work combining narration and singing with texts taken from the Bible and poetry from the 18th and 19th centuries. Composer Mollicone will appear as guest conductor of his work for the final concert in Warwick. Also featured on the program will be arrangements of four Christmas gospels, a twelve-selection medley of seasonal favorites and traditional carols.

	Singer-songwriter Katie Dahl has performed her original songs everywhere from the dusty cliffs of Mali, to the winding canals of southern France, to the cedar forests of the American northwoods. Particularly well-respected on her home turf of Door County, Wisconsin, Katie tours regularly and has earned accolades nationwide for the depth and power of her alto voice, the literate candor of her songs, and the easy humor of her live performances. In 2015, Katie’s song “Crowns” hit #1 on the folk radio charts. Her musical play “Victory Farm” premiered to high acclaim in 2012 and has since been made into a live cast album. Karen Impola of Iowa Public Radio says, “Katie Dahl’s music combines a love for her rural midwestern roots, a droll wit, and a clear-eyed appraisal of modern life, all served up in a voice as rich as cream.” Katie’s latest album, “Wildwood” (September 2019) was recorded in Nashville and features Birds of Chicago’s JT Nero (producer) and Allison Russell (harmony vocals).
