Over the years Damn The Torpedoes—the most accurate Tom Petty tribute group—has evolved with a deeper understanding of the Tom Petty catalog and more committed members. The group consists of founder and Tom Petty impersonator Rich Kubicz, lead guitarist Jimi Alan, pianist/keyboards and backing vocals Gary Castelluccio, bassist Jon Provan, and drummer/percussionist Ross Kantor. The goal was to play all of the studio hits, some of the live versions and a few deep cuts to create the illusion of a Tom Petty concert performance. This meant that each band member would need to find the same sounds as on the records and play their parts note for note. And they do just that! Info & buy tickets

Slam Allen perfected his already refined entertainer persona in James Cotton's Blues Band, with which he toured for nine years, first as rhythm guitarist, then as lead guitarist and eventually bandleader. Slam has an uncanny ability to hook an audience, a good-time vibe, ever smiling, upbeat and energetic. A seasoned and internationally recognized touring veteran, Slam Allen is more than a singer, songwriter, and guitar player. He has connected with his audiences like the entertainers of a bygone era - Otis Redding, B.B., Albert, and Freddie King, with some Wilson Picket, James Brown, Sly Stone and a little George Benson and Jimi Hendrix thrown in to the experience. Slam is forging his legacy in the world of blues and soul. With seven original albums under his belt, he brings back what the music world needs - the love and uplifting honesty that makes for a powerful and entertaining experience. http://www.slamallen.com/ Purple Rain: https://youtu.be/91SUL30VaLE
