Stereo Mike's (Michael Holmes - formerly of Groovy Tuesday & Michael Gailie from Tangent) combine their talents at Orange County Distillery's Brown Barn Farms on Friday, August 23rd at 6 pm, to bring you an acoustic show highlighting amazing vocals and perfectly crafted arrangements of the songs you were just listening to, moments ago or years ago. This MIRRORS the perfectly crafted cocktails The Barn's mixologists will put together using the spirits created from this true farm to bottle endeavor at Orange County Distillery. This 100+ year old barn serves as a backdrop - the perfect eclectic venue. Eating on site offers such a wonderful selection from a renowned local food truck. It is all a part of the experience. The song writers, Jeff Entin and Bob Blum met in a mental hospital in 1972, where they were both Aides. Discovering that playing music together was much more fun and rewarding, they have been at it ever since. When they were joined by drummer, Larry Balestra a few years ago, the unit was complete. We have recently released our first album of original music, aptly named “Pleased to Meetcha”.

ToasterBasket is a dynamic group of five musicians deconstructing, fusing, and re-serving up the sounds of soul, jazz, blues, and funk into a mosaic of “modern motown rock” for your listening pleasure. ToasterBasket is inclusive, cohesive, and improvisational. It is the raw and husky verses of songstress Jezebel Jeffrey, and the syncopated tones of keyboardist Patrick Stokes that started the story of this New York group. The pair began writing music together and soon added Jason on Bass, Steven Repka on Guitar and Terry Hampton- keeping everyone tight- on drums. With a wide range of influences, ToasterBasket appeals to listeners of all ages.
This band is rocking and has everybody dancing the whole night. Lead singer Robin Baker is joined by Leon Seals on bass, Eric Stamberg on keyboards, Lou Aubain on guitar, and Randy Echeverri on drums.

The Sullivan County Historical Society presents Rockabilly Hall of Fame singer, producer, songwriter, Mickey Barnett. Barnett, a Sullivan County legend from the days of the great Catskill hotels, is well known for performing the tunes of Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and Carl Perkins. Recognized for its virtuosity, exuberant performance style, and often-daring repertory choices, the Pacifica Quartet has achieved international recognition as one of the finest chamber ensembles performing today. Named the quartet-in-residence at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music in March 2012, the Pacifica was previously the quartet-in-residence at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and received a Grammy Award for Best Chamber Music Performance. In 2017, the Pacifica Quartet was appointed to lead the Center for Advanced Quartet Studies at the Aspen Music Festival and School.
Love comes in many shapes, sizes, and forms. There is the love one feels for their partner, child, parent and community; but there is also unrequited love, love in loss and death, love of the hunt. Explored throughout this eclectic program is love in its many manifestations and interpretations. Join us as we explore love as it is found throughout this collection of vocal music from the worlds of classical music and musical theatre.
On Sunday, August 25 starting at 4:00 pm join us at MISU for a performance recital by tenor Vitalis Im and pianist Valentina Shatalova that explores the many types of love. Admission is $10.00. This is sure to be a wonderful performance by a former MISU student and teacher Vitalis.
Event will showcase music of Jewish origin, include Broadway musical, jazz and traditional. It will share a sense of Jewish pride, unity, culture and traditions to a wider community utilizing the platform of Jewish music.
The Woodstock Celtic Session is a weekly gathering of Traditional musicians who come together to enjoy and play Irish music and more in a pub setting. All are welcome to play or listen in an acoustic unplugged pub setting. We’ve been playing together every Monday night for since 2002!
