Industrial Arts Brewing Company, Garnerville
55 West Railroad Avenue
Garnerville, NY   See Map
IABC partners up with the Garner Arts Center, for some live music and authentic Neapolitan pizza to celebrate the opening of a fresh new art show in our taproom.

Westchester Magazine describes Lauren West as the "powerhouse frontwoman" of the Yonkers-based indie-punk outfit American Pinup (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EklW0nwAHM4) , but her solo efforts reveal the softer side of this dynamic singer-songwriter. Performing a combination of stripped-down American Pinup favorites and original songs not found in her band's discography, West will be winding it down from anthemic powerpop to heartfelt indie folk.

Pizza Vitale's “little silver box” on wheels holds a wood burning pizza oven owned and operated by an experienced pizzaiolo showcasing house-made dough, Sarno valley tomatoes, fresh mozz & locally sourced toppings.

A singular voice in an astounding range of musical contexts, Don Byron explores widely divergent traditions while striving for what he calls “a sound above genre.” As clarinetist, saxophonist, composer, arranger, and social critic, he redefines every genre of music he plays, be it classical, salsa, hip-hop, funk, klezmer, rhythm & blues, gospel, or any jazz style from swing and bop to cutting-edge downtown improvisation.

http://lvanhart.com/artists/don-byron-quartet/

His countless collaborations range from the Duke Ellington Orchestra to Daniel Barenboim and from Salif Keita to Allen Toussaint. He has composed and arranged music for chamber ensembles, dance, and film, including soundtracks for the documentaries “Strange Fruit” and “Red-Tailed Angels,” and has acted in films directed by Robert Altman and Paul Auster.

Byron’s discography comprises a dozen albums for mostly Blue Note and Nonesuch Records.

Featuring Mark Karan (Ratdog/Grateful Dead Guitarist) and Wynne Paris (Kirtan pioneer). A Mantra Rock experience in association with Shakti Yoga

Aiko Aiko, Ram Ram ... Sunshine Deva is a new mantra rock band formed by Kirtan pioneer, Wynne Paris co-founder of the Lovelight Festival this June (co-founded with Michael Lang) and Ratdog/Grateful Dead family guitarist Mark Karan. Mixing Kirtan and mantra rock seems like a new thing, and doing it with a Grateful Dead/Jamband style is even fresher, maybe Sunshine Deva is tapping into a mythology that goes back to the Summer of Love. Sunshine Deva will be exploring that connection a bit more deeply, literally mashing up Grateful Dead songs and mantra chants. Whether it’s chanting Aiko Aiko, or Ram Ram, the goal is to bring the audience to a blissful space while singing from the heart and dancing in the streets. Hold on to your Mala’s folks, it’s gonna be a wild ride!
