In a diverse career spanning decades, keyboardist/arranger Pete Levin has performed and recorded with hundreds of notable artists including Paul Simon, Annie Lennox, Miles Davis, David Sanborn, Lenny White, Wayne Shorter, Jaco Pastorius and Robbie Robertson. He received accolades for his years with the legendary Gil Evans and with jazz icon Jimmy Giuffre. Pete recently released "The Levin Brothers" album with brother, iconic bass player Tony Levin.

Mike DeMicco since 1980 has performed with Dave Brubeck, The Brubeck Brothers Quartet, Jack DeJohnette, Nick Brignola, Warren Bernhardt, Lee Shaw, Rory Block, James & Livingston Taylor, and Professor “Louie” and The Crowmatix, among others.

A member of the Sir Roland Hanna Trio from 1994-99, Siegel's diverse career includes performances with notables Ron Carter, Kenny Burrell, Jack DeJohnette, Mose Allison, John Medeski, Arturo O'Farrill and Tony Levin, among others. Siegel teaches at The New School, SUNY New Paltz and WCSU.

Chameleonize are a 5-piece acid-jazz / funk-fusion band based in New York City. The musicians have been playing together since 2015, but collected as "Chameleonize" in August of 2018.

Band members include Gabi Riel on vocals and alto saxophone, Mo LaMastro and Brian Gipson on guitar, Ben Rudolph on drums, Mikey Rotunno on bass, and Gabe Weissman on keyboard.

Some influences include Erykah Badu, Snarky Puppy, and Hiatus Kaiyote. Combining complex musical sequences with attractive pop melodies and hip-hop grooves, they exhibit a unique twist on contemporary music.

Eager to begin the Chameleonize journey under the management of Jesse Hermann, the band will quickly gain traction and exposure due to their deep-rooted musical compatibility and fresh appeal.

Josie Rose is currently an undergraduate student at the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, majoring in Classical Music Performance. Josie’s main instrument is the viola, but in her spare time she plays bagpipes with the local Celtic-Punk group “The Templars of Doom.” Josie has also made several appearances at the Hooley on the Hudson and the Rosendale Street Festival with the trad group, “The Wild Irish Roses,” whose members include Josie’s parents and seven siblings. Josie’s favorite part of performing music is sharing the experience with her friends and family.

The open mic portion of the evening is a great opportunity for newcomers and seasoned performers with a welcoming, appreciative audience. All styles of music or spoken word, folk & beyond.

The Falcon Underground invites jazz artists to Sign -Up and Sit-In at our monthly Jazz Sessions.

Richie Morales has performed with numerous contemporary artists including the late Grover Washington Jr., Stevie Wonder, Carly Simon, saxophonist Bill Evans, and many others.. Richie's performance on Gato Barbieri's release "Shadow of the Cat" helped garner 2003 Billboard Magazine's "Best Latin Jazz Album of The Year" and a Latin Grammy nomination. Richie was best known as the percussive force behind the group Spyro Gyra.

Jay Azzolina has been an accompanist for Michael Franks, Donna Summer, Rickie Lee Jones, Manhattan Transfer and Sheila Jordan. As a leader, Jay has recorded four CDs of original compositions with some of the most influential players in Jazz.

Versatile New York bassist, Adam Coté, has performed with George Coleman, Philip Harper, Joe Cohn, Billy Drummond, David Hazeltine, and Dayna Stephens among others. Coté has been a member of Walking Distance since 2012.
