When he tilts away from jazz as we know it, it’s toward big-gesture pop: a sweeping, earnest and melancholic music." -The New York Times

Aaron Parks & Little Big can be seen as a commitment to melodic songwriting, modern rhythms, and immersive storytelling. The genre-fluid ensemble brings their experiences from jazz and improvised music, electronica, R&B, indie pop, alt-country, and much more!

Forward-thinking jazz pianist, Aaron Parks, came to the public's attention during his time with trumpeter Terence Blanchard, and certainly with his work on Blanchard's Grammy-winning opus A Tale of God's Will (2007 - A Requiem for Katrina).

Parks has performed with trumpeter Christian Scott, drummer Kendrick Scott, and vocalist Gretchen Parlato, among others. He has released several albums under his own name, including his 2008 Blue Note debut, Invisible Cinema.

Johnny IrionThe FALCON
1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
A rocker in and out of time, Johnny Irion has a kind of timelessness, wringing out the sweetest melodies and deepest passions of both ‘60s Californian rock and Guthrie-era folk. There’s a reason Bernie Sanders asked him to sing at a rally in his sometimes-home of Santa Barbara!

Best known for folk explorations with his wife Sarah Lee Guthrie, including their recent Wassaic Way, produced by Jeff Tweedy.

His latest rock venture with US ELEVATOR, Rolling Stone Magazine praised for its “songs that are hand crafted as lovingly as the jeans on the back of After the Goldrush”.

Irion has earned a reputation as one of the most exciting artists across the folk-rock spectrum, from his uncannily Young-Nilsson-esque voice to his melodic and lyrical mettle.

Irion has just wrapped up a solo record, Driving Friend, with members of Dawes, Wilco, Nicki Bluhm, and The Gramblers (2018). He will be joining SON VOLT for their spring tour.

Gratefully Yours has quickly established itself as one of the Northeast’s premiere Grateful Dead cover bands; with an all-star lineup performing “dream” set lists submitted by their fans.

Founded in 2012 by Alex Mazur, of The Deadbeats - one of the longest running Grateful Dead cover bands. With lineups that include Adam Czolowski (Sonic Garden), Tom Pirozzi (Ominous Seapods), Jeff Martinson (Shakedown) and Rob Schiff (Nailed Shutt), Vinnie Amico (moe.), Rob Eaton (Dark Star Orchestra), Russ Lawton (Trey Anastasio Band), Bill Carbone (Max Creek) and Zach Nugent (Cats Under The Stars).

The Dead were unique, as was the bond with their audience. MAGIC and MUSIC! It is the MAGIC that Gratefully Yours pays tribute to. The band encourages their audience to participate in the creative process, offering the Dead community an opportunity to submit, or vote for, their dream set lists online - from which the band chooses to perform at their shows. Influenced by the raw emotion of songwriters such as Patty Griffin, Lucinda Williams, Mieka Pauley, and Emmylou Harris, Sarah's confessional lyrics are defiant and searing, vulnerable and searching. Sarah has dedicated the past several years collaborating with veterans Clifford Carter (James Taylor), Marc Shulman (Suzanne Vega), Ann Klein (Ani DiFranco) and Chrissi Poland (Scissor Sisters), allowing her songs to evolve through consistent live performance. Sarah is often seen performing at NYC clubs such as the Bitter End and in Nov 2016 celebrated her CD release at Rockwood Music Hall to a packed house.

Sarah will be opening for Toot Sweet - a favorite band of hers! See below for details.

12 North Division Street
Peekskill, NY   See Map
Fronted by vocalist, accordionist, pianist and songwriter Mary Spencer Knapp (an original cast member of the hit Broadway show, "The Great Comet"), Toot Sweet plays a "mean, funk-infused cabaret style of pop," according to NYC Deli Magazine. The band calls their music "Cabaret Soul", a style that blends Edith Piaf and psychedelic soul. Their sets are zany, quirky and transfixing.

NYC songwriter Sarah Wise says of Toot Sweet, "This is by far one of the most innovative and in-your-face bands I have ever seen."

Toot Sweet are staples on the NYC / Brooklyn music scene, playing clubs like Bowery Electric, Rockwood, The Bitter End, Pete's Candy Store and many others. We're thrilled to welcome this tour de force to our 12 Grapes stage in their Westchester debut.

Best known as the comedian who puts the cerebral in Cerebral Palsy, Josh Blue centers much of his self-deprecating act around his disability. He exploded onto the natural comedy scene by capturing the attention and endearment of the country as the winner of NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Having already established himself as one of the most sought after comedians on the college circuit, his weekly appearances on Last Comic in the summer of 2006 expanded his fan base exponentially. Josh starred in Comedy Central Presents: Josh Blue. It received rave reviews from fans and critics alike and was named the 11th best special on the network in 2011. Possessed with an undeniable likability and comedic timing that belies his youthfulness, Josh continues to break down stereotypes of people with disabilities one laugh at a time.
