Times Square has been entertaining people throughout the Hudson Valley for over 24 years. Specializing in songs of the 50’s and early 1960’s, the group was founded by its only remaining original member, Ron Piga (a.k.a. Piggy). Bronx native, Tony Cacace, is well known in doo wop circles for his fabulous lead vocals in The Cordials, Treblecords, and Regents. Ron and Tony are rightfully credited with the group’s longevity and ongoing success. NYC Mounted Police Officer, Walter Resty, sang with ensembles, Wishful Thinking and Sentimental Journey. Bob Schulz sang with The Mello-Kings and The Montereys. Newcomer, Tony Carlini, bass, has been singing in close harmony groups for over 42 years, and is grateful to his mates for allowing him to step into the legacy known as “Times Square”. | ||

Veteran musicians Joe Gil (trombone), Neil Alexander (organ and keyboards) and Nadav Snir-Zelniker (drums) have put together a new group called the "Thunderhead Organ Trio". The group is taking the concept of the organ trio in a new and different direction, drawing on many different influences and styles.
The group explores the grittier, rockier side of the genre referencing groups like the original Tony Williams Lifetime and mines the jazz standard repertoire for obscure gems and deep cuts. The group will be playing original tunes, jazz standards, lost classics and rare gems. | ||

Tony Garnier is an American bassist (both double bass and bass guitar), best known as an accompanist to Bob Dylan, with whom he has played since 1989. He is Dylan's longest-running sideman, and has sometimes been characterized as his "musical director" as well.
Garnier has also recorded with Tom Waits, Loudon Wainwright III, Paul Simon, Marc Ribot, Eric Andersen, Asleep at the Wheel, The Lounge Lizards, and Robert Gordon. A tribute to Vince Guaraldi's 1965 studio album, "A Charlie Brown Christmas" - considered one of the most beloved holiday albums recorded. The soundtrack introduced jazz with grace, charm, and creativity, to an entirely new generation, having been heard by more individuals than the work of the genre's most influential players, and influenced dozens of young aspiring musicians, among them David Benoit and George Winston.Jeremy Baum plays the Hammond Organ, piano and leads his trio, which is rooted in the blues and funky soul-jazz sounds of the late 60s. His style is also informed by the current masters of the groove from the jam-band scene. Jeremy has been a successful sideman, working with Shemekia Copeland, Levon Helm, soul-jazz legend Melvin Sparks, and many more.
