1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
Singer, songwriter, & guitar virtuoso Jimmy Thackery carved an enviable niche for himself in the world of electric blues, known for his gritty, blue-collar approach & marathon live shows,

Thackery co-founded & spent 14 years as part of The Nighthawks, one of the hardest-working blues bar bands in North America. Touring under his own name since 1987, he found widespread acceptance on the festival circuit. His hard-edged, tough-as-nails approach to guitar playing and his trio's driving rhythm section holds appeal for fans of Muddy Waters, Bruce Springsteen and Joe Grushecky.

Jimmy Thackery & the Assassins split up in 1991. Jimmy Thackery & The Drivers, quickly forged a name on the blues festival and club circuit through prolific recording and roadwork.

His 1998 album, SWITCHING GEARS, includes guest performances by Joe Louis Walker, Lonnie Brooks, Chubby Carrier, and Francine Reed, but any of Thackery's albums will delight fans of tough, heavy, driving guitar playing.

Paramount Hudson Valley Theater
1008 Brown Street
Peekskill, NY   See Map
Terry Reid, ‘Superlungs’ as he’s affectionately known, is without doubt one of the greatest rock/soul voices this country has ever produced or is indeed likely to. A Terry Reid concert should be a cherished memory for any self-respecting fan of the greats of British music. Terry turned down the front man’s job with Led Zeppelin, recommending his mate Robert Plant instead, a similar offer and rebuff to Deep Purple. Aretha Franklin’s stated that The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Terry Reid were the best England had to offer in 1968. He underwent two World Tours with The Rolling Stones, US tours with Cream, UK tours with Jethro Tull and Fleetwood Mac, The Isle of White Festival in 1969 and Glastonbury in 1970, played at Mick Jagger’s wedding, before soured record deals resulted in Terry leaving Britain for America nearly 40 years ago. With Opening Act- Professor “Louie” & The Crowmatix!

Joni Mitchell: A Tribute, Scott Petito, Gail Ann Dorsey, Veronica Nunn, Leslie Ritter, Jay Collins, Danny Blume, Roberto Rodrguez, Travis Shook, Rachel ZThe FALCON
1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
Producer & bassist, Scott Petito assembles a world class ensemble, with some of the most well-respected musicians working today, to interpret the timeless music of the genius from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

"When the dust settles, Joni Mitchell may stand as the most important and influential female recording artist of the late 20th century" - Allmusic

Joni Mitchell’s gift was so enormous that it remade the social space around her. It is no small burden to possess something as valuable as Mitchell’s talent, and it meant that this girl from the Canadian prairie would be in the world, whether she liked it or not. All she needed was her lyrics, preternaturally analytic, wry, and shrewd; her chords, largely self-invented, a kind of calligraphy of the moods; and her voice, which modulates from patter to rue to rhapsody in a single phrase. The best pop music is often preening and shamanic. Mitchell’s is almost always about what two articulate adults mean, or once meant, to each other.

Adam Falcon is a master guitarist and songwriter. And one of the most humble people we ever met. Adam once blogged, "Wrote a couple of songs that guitarist George Benson happened to cover." His music is "intimate and soulful". He'll have you riveted to your seat, while at the same time you won't stop moving to the groove.

Adam started recording at 16 and was one of NYC's most sought after session/touring guitarists. He worked with Will Downing, Sophie B. Hawkins, Roberta Flack, and the aforementioned George Benson, for whom he wrote "In Search Of A Dream" from the Grammy nominated album "In Your Eyes", also performing on the album.

"Falcon's adventurous mix of Soul, R&B and Funky Jazz is giving audiences and critics something to talk about." - Urban Network.

Peekskill, NY   See Map
John Duff, an artist residing in Greenwich CT, has been producing fascinating but under the radar work for over a decade. John's approach to art is all-inclusive, just as his career has been. His talents include painting, photography, and creating music. John's technique combines photography and acrylic paint. The result is pop art inspired by nature, which make his pieces unique, colorful and visually stunning. The photography highlights the overlooked beauty and geometry of nature and the acrylic paint enhances the colors and texture of the paintbrush. All of John's work is one of a kind and he often makes custom work by request when approached by clients with particular subjects in mind. John had his art featured at Greenwich Hospital (2015), Images of Old Greenwich, CT (spring of 2016), Rockwell Galery in Ridgefield, CT (spring of 2017) and most recently, The Lofts at Beacon (summer 2017).

Lexie sings "Vaya Con Dios" once more, on the Les Paul Tribute Album "Thank You Les" with Keith Richards, Jose Feliciano, Steve Miller, Slash, Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Eddie Brigati Jr. (The Young Rascals) and many others who have played with Les Paul through the years.

Poughkeepsie, NY   See Map
The Piedmont Bluz Acoustic Duo is dedicated to the preservation of Country Blues and the Piedmont style and their mission is to help keep this rural, east coast tradition alive by educating audiences about this unique aspect of African American culture through musical entertainment. They have been entertaining audiences at venues from Washington State to Jerusalem and are much loved wherever they go. The husband and wife duo feel that "there are stories to tell, people to remember, and things that must be said" so, in addition to tickling your ears with delightful music, they weave a bit of history into the presentation of each song. A Piedmont Bluz concert isn’t just music – it’s an experience as they transport you back to the 1920s and 1930s, the hey-day of acoustic Country Blues music. In addition to performing songs from that timeframe, they introduce each piece with an interesting anecdote about either the composer, the time period, or the song itself.

Featuring button accordion, bouzouki, guitar and fiddle, the band’s sound is defined by the hurdy-gurdy, which “adds an earthy, rough-hewn flavor to even the most buoyant dance tunes.” — Boston Herald Since its inception in August 2002, Le Vent du Nord has enjoyed meteoric success, performing well over 1,600 concerts over 5 continents and racking up several prestigious awards, including a Grand Prix du Disque Charles Cros, two Junos (Canada’s Grammys), a Félix at ADISQ, a Canadian Folk Music Award, and “Artist of the Year” at the North American Folk Alliance Annual Gala.

'Ultimately the Springsteen and Guthrie comparisons are meaningless, since Robt Sarazin Blake has always been a true American original. (I do think if you like Springsteen albums such as Nebraska and The Ghost of Tom Joad, you will at least have a point of reference.) He sounds like nobody else, and that's a joyous thing. But when you listen to the masterful way he navigates through these sixteen songs you'll wonder who he is and why you haven't heard about him until now. " - Marc Phillips /The Vinyl Anachronist

Blake's touring and performing has become an art in itself, with 200 shows a year worldwide, Blake is a world class performer in a neighborhood venue.

His own record label Same Room Records, featuring "recordings of songs and musicians in the same room and the same time", is an oddly unique idea in an era of digitally manipulated sounds - and he's sold over 10,000 albums from his suitcase.

VIP and Meet and Greet Tickets Available! Born and raised in Philadelphia, multi-instrumentalist and rock and roll maverick Todd Rundgren began playing guitar as a teenager and founded Nazz, the quintessential 60’s cult group. He left, however, to pursue a solo career and recorded his debut offering, the legendary Runt in 1969. His true talent, however, was showcased in 1972 when he played all the instruments, sang all the vocals, and acted as his own producer on his sequel album Something/Anything? The album catapulted Rundgren into the superstar limelight, prompting the press to unanimously dub him “Rock’s New Wunderkind.” Rundgren is best known for his 1973 solo album A Wizard, A True Star, which included hit singles such as “I Saw the Light,” “Hello It’s Me,” “Can We Still Be Friends,” and “Bang the Drum.” Get your VIP or Meet and Greet tickets through this link! https://paramounthudsonvalley.showare.com/ordertickets.asp?p=905
