 12 Grapes Kids Open Mic is a showcase for talented musicians and singers ages 6 - 17. It's one of the longest running Open Mics for young people in Westchester.
Sing solo or with a band. Bring your guitar, bass, sax, flute or whatever instrument you play. We provide a drum kit, keyboard, amps and microphones. iPod backing music can be accommodated, however internet connection not available, so please have your song pre-set.
Our Kids Open Mic has become a popular favorite, and is always full of surprises and incredible talent. Come to perform or just come to listen!
Sign-up begins at 5:30. Kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Her first concrete passion aside from singing was poetry, writing volumes of verse starting from the time she was 8 years old which would inevitably aid in her songwriting in later years. Eventually she would attend Louisiana State University for poetry but along the way, her true love of music made its way back into her life. At the age of 20, Jill started teaching herself how to play the guitar, emulating such legendary folk finger-pickers as Joni Mitchell. The result is a unique and immediately identifiable style all her own.

Breakfast for the Boys is a Hudson Valley Indie band that delivers a fresh style of Soul with a "70s Art Rock subconscious". This dynamic four-piece showcases the underground Funk of Boston's rich music scene and the gritty, romantic sounds of New York. Powerhouse front-woman Aubrey Haddard fights fire with fire; a smokey vocal firestorm fueled by the intense prowess of guitarist Pierce Allen, bassist Sam Smith, and drummer Roger Larochelle.
Breakfast with the Boys just releases their self-titled LP, showcasing the group's obvious comfort in a variety of sounds and styles... "from tremolo' cries to midnight Mali Gospel; all sexy, hip-shaking, and unashamed. Breakfast is served."
