 Veteran musicians Joe Gil (trombone), Neil Alexander (organ and keyboards) and Nadav Snir-Zelniker (drums) have put together a new group called the "Thunderhead Organ Trio". The group is taking the concept of the organ trio in a new and different direction, drawing on many different influences and styles.
The group explores the grittier, rockier side of the genre referencing groups like the original Tony Williams Lifetime and mines the jazz standard repertoire for obscure gems and deep cuts.
The group will be playing original tunes, jazz standards, lost classics and rare gems.

Since he began in the business in the 1960s Carl Palmer has sold over 50 million records! He has worked with Atomic Rooster; The Crazy World of Arthur Brown; Emerson Lake & Palmer and ASIA. The band has been together over 14 years and has performed every Thursday in Woodstock for the last nine years.  Peekskill native, NYFA (New York Foundation For The Arts) grant recipient Fred Gillen Jr has released nine full-length albums, to great critical acclaim, and has toured all over the U.S. and Europe. His songs have been featured on ABC's "All My Children," NPR's "Car Talk," CMJ's New Music Marathon Sampler, and in 2012 his version of Woody Guthrie's "I Ain't Got No Home" was featured on "Pete Remembers Woody," a collection of Pete Seeger's spoken stories about Woody Guthrie. Like Guthrie, his songs often reflect the struggles of the marginalized and forgotten, shining a light on both the despair and hope in the human condition. His live performances are spontaneous celebrations of all that it is to be human, he encourages participation, and he works hard to eliminate the "fourth wall" between performer and audience.

| Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is a contemporary swing revival band from southern California. Their notable singles include "Go Daddy-O", "You & Me & the Bottle Makes 3 Tonight (Baby)", and "Mr. Pinstripe Suit". The band played the Super Bowl XXXIII half-time show in 1999.
The band was originally formed in Ventura, California, in 1989 by leader Scotty Morris. The band was named Big Bad Voodoo Daddy after Scotty Morris met blues guitar legend Albert Collins at one of the latter's concerts. "He signed my poster 'To Scotty, the big bad voodoo daddy'," Morris explains. "I thought it was the coolest name I ever heard on one of the coolest musical nights I ever had. So when it came time to name this band, I didn't really have a choice. I felt like it was handed down to me."  Brainchild of world renown drummer-percussionist Leon Parker, The Humanity Quartet is a uniquely cooperative jazz ensemble whose members have been associated with the likes of Gerry Mulligan, Benny Carter, Quincy Jones, Johnny Griffin, Dewey Redman, Lee Konitz, Betty Carter, Brad Mehldau, and Cecile McLorin Salvant, among others.
Combining standard and original repertoire and deeply rooted in tradition, there is a true sense of freedom, an indelible emphasis on swing, and always a melody to grab onto.
Joel Frahm, perhaps the greatest sax player of his generation, adds his undeniable sound to the group.
Parker's long time association with bassist-composer Sean Smith spans three decades. Their unique relationship serves as the foundation of the group, while Sean's compositions underscore the band.
Pianist Fred Nardin, who lives in Paris, completes the quartet.
Special guest: Croton's own Lisa Morsberger on flute.

 12 Grapes' once-monthly Kids Open Mic is a showcase for talented musicians and singers ages 6 - 17. It's one of the longest running Open Mics for young people in Westchester.
Sing solo or with a band. Bring your guitar, bass, sax, flute or whatever instrument you play. We provide a drum kit, keyboard, amps and microphones. iPod backing music accommodated. (Internet connection not available, so have your song pre-set.)
Our Kids Open Mic has become a popular favorite, and is always full of surprises and incredible talent. Come to perform or just come to listen!
Sign-up begins at 5:30. Kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
