"Richie Goods is a master musician whose tenure with many of music's greatest names clearly has worn off on him..."

One of the most versatile and accomplished bass players on the scene, Richie has recorded and toured with the Headhunters, Louis Hayes and the Cannonball Adderley Legacy Band, Lenny White, Mulgrew Miller, Whitney Houston, and Christina Aguilera to name a few.

Given the Grammy award-winning musicians, with each band member carefully selected not only for their skill but for their passion for the music, one can only marvel at Nuclear Fusion’s eclectic sound. On tour from Monterey, California, Lillie Lemon is a synthpop duo with striking lyrics, fun hooks, and dance-worthy electronic tunes. Their instrumentation utilizes primarily synthesizers and vocals and find kin in bands like Chvrches and Passion Pit. Songs are fueled by a unique hybrid of acoustic and electronic influences.

Lillie Lemon hails from the great Midwest, the land of long winters and short summers. She began her musical life on the shores of Lake Michigan in the dead of winter. Her songwriting is heavily influenced by the flux of the seasons, often substantial in lyrical content and dense in sound.

Settling in Monterey, Lillie attached herself to the local music scene. Producer and musician Erica Wobbles is known for his electronic influences and wide variety of keys-related instrumentation. Partnering with Erica has led their music down a path both experimental and wildly gratifying.

A HOMECOMING! Stellar Songwriting, Stellar Singing
with Marc Von Em
Acoustic, Singer-Songwriter
12 Grapes Music & Wine Bar
12 North Division Street
Peekskill, NY   See Map
Marc Von Em is back "Home" in Peekskill, just after his 4th tour with the Rob Thomas Band. His original music is influenced by folk, funk and blues, with a few choice cover songs woven in. As one reviewer wrote: "If you haven't seen Marc Von Em perform live, you're only cheating yourself."

Marc is able to create amazing amounts of sound and diversity through his voice and one faithful guitar. His chops are wide-ranging, from delicate finger picking to rambunctious Pete Townsend-type strumming. Marc is able to seamlessly switch his vibe -- his dynamic voice can go from smooth & soaring to smoky scatting. His harmonica playing is equally impressive and he sometimes uses it to accompany Muddy Waters-style blues on guitar.

Rob Thomas wrote, "... when I heard his original stuff, I asked [Marc] to open up a 10,000 seat gig. Just him, his guitar, and his songs. He killed it!"

Come help us welcome Marc back to our 12 Grapes stage!

A Passion For Music for Over 40 Years

Ruth and Max Bloomquist have been making music together since they met in 1975 and discovered their shared love not only for each other, but for music and songs made with acoustic instruments and featuring lyrics from the heart. Ruth and Max immersed themselves in folk, bluegrass, country, singer songwriters, and other acoustic music to create a sound and style all their own. From the beginning, Ruth was inspired to write songs from her own heart and experience. In 1997 Ruth and Max released Ruth’s first CD, Jewel Of My Heart, a collection of original songs that were popular with their audiences. Two more solo CDs followed to rave reviews. Meanwhile, in 2003, Ruth was a winner of Merlefest’s Chris Austin Song Writing Competition with her Gospel song, By The River. The couple’s 2010 CD, “Turn Back a Page,” soared to No. 5 on the Folk Radio Airplay Chart upon its release. A Youtube video of Ruth’s song Michigan Girl as had over 345,000 views.
