Pathways to Dance is an annual eight-county Capital Region initiative, in concert with Manhattan’s Joyce Theater, designed to support new dance creation and presentation.

 The Spillway Band is pleased to be playing their first gig at Smokin' Pony BBQ and can't wait to see that dance floor full! They play an up-tempo set of rock, country, oldies, blues, R’n’B and originals, covering songs from the 50's up to today, with an emphasis on danceability. Their eclectic song list includes the Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, CCR, The Drifters, Brad Paisley, Train, Albert King, Kentucky Headhunters, Georgia Satellites, Chuck Berry, Kid Rock, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, Alan Jackson, Elvis, The Hollies, Eric Clapton, Delbert McClinton, Dwight Yoakam, Brooks & Dunn, and many more.

 The Hudson Valley Bluegrass Boys is a brand new bluegrass group with seasoned musicians with decades of musical experience behind them.
The Hudson Valley Bluegrass Boys group was inspired by its founder Jim Romine, whose Alabama roots are deep in Southern Bluegrass music. He wanted to form a group that carried on the tradition of pure bluegrass, focusing on celebrating the music of Flatt and Scruggs, Bill Monroe, The Dillards, and Doc Watson. In addition to Jim playing rhythm guitar and singing lead, other founding members include Thomas Earl on five string banjo, guitar, and singing baritone; Doctor Romo on mandolin, fiddle and tenor vocals; and Mike Aiese, on stand up bass and singing bass vocals. The result is incredible four part harmonies and some real foot stompin' bluegrass instruments.

 When Liberty DeVitto, Richie Cannata and Russell Javors were inducted into the Long Island Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, they needed a singer / piano player to perform the part of BJ. In stepped David Clark. And he wowed both the band and the audience. David has been playing with their band, The Lords of 52nd Street, ever since.
“Songs In The Attic” is a musical tribute conceived and presented by David Clark, a Long Island veteran singer/piano player. Formed in 2011, the band performs in front of thousands of people at notable concert halls & festivals such as the WBAB-sponsored Jones Beach Boardwalk concert series, the Nesconset Gazebo summer concert series, BB King and the Highline Ballroom in NYC and countless others. David Clark continues to gain notoriety with his stunningly accurate piano playing and lead vocals, combined with dynamic and high-energy band performances.

 We have been "Waiting SOO Long" for Ghost Millionaires to make their 12 Grapes debut. And it couldn't have happened at a more apropos time. These musicians have held a very special place in our hearts from the beginning. We can't wait for their new EP so we can share it with the world.
Ghost Millionaires is Mishti on drums, "all cheekbones and Elvis hair." Guitarist Alex Nolan, an ambassador of "laconic bad-assery". Chris Burke on bass, and lead singer Mani Cregan, from Dublin. Ghost Millionaires performs Mani's originals (but they'll thrown in some Mishti songs as well). Fan favorites include "Happiness Descends", "Careful What You Wish For", "Behind the Folding Half-Moon" and others.
CF Burke is Chris Burke, playing his original songs on acoustic guitar or keys. His style is mostly electronic or acoustic pop. His breakout EP is called Halfway Ballet.

 Chubby took his cue from artists of the '60s, including Sly & the Family Stone, Jimi Hendrix, and Eric Clapton, among others. In his early twenties, he worked for a while backing punk poet Richard Hell. Chubby's first big break was winning a national blues talent search sponsored by KLON, a public radio station in Long Beach, California. He won New Artist of the Year, and opened the Long Beach Blues Festival in 1992, and has been rocking audience with his bold approach to music ever since.
Chubby continues to play more than 200 club dates a year, and has released numerous albums worldwide, since. Most notably, his Sony/Okeh debut, 'Booty and the Beast', was produced by longtime Atlantic Records engineer/producer TOM DOWD, whose recordings by Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Wilson Pickett, among others are legendary! |

Peter’s journey began as an artist/songwriter releasing his United Artists debut LP in his early twenties. He continued writing and producing for artists, television and film. He’s shared his expertise creating workshop and event programs for the Songwriters Hall of Fame and now the New York Songwriters Collective. Peter works from his “Planet Studio NYC” recording studios located in Manhattan, arranging, recording and producing other artists to help bring their music to life. Peter is once again taking to the stage singing his own songs at venues The Bitter End, the Duplex in NYC, and First Acoustics in Brooklyn. He is also available for intimate house concerts. A new CD is coming in 2016! |
