Voices of Glory "A New Voice of Hope", Michael Cole, Avery Cole, Nadia ColeThe FALCON
1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
Siblings Michael, Avery and Nadia Cole, are on a mission to change the world through their unique style of singing, tight harmonies, and their inspirational message. In 2005 their mother, Felicia was in a coma after a car collision with a drunk driver. Day after day, the trio serenaded their mother by her bedside, for 8 months, until Felicia came out of her coma. The group began to travel to nursing homes and hospitals in an effort to bring hope to other patients and their families.

In 2012, the Voices of Glory found a home for their show at the Hughes Brothers Theater, in Branson, MO. From this home base, the group has had phenomenal success. Their time in Branson has allowed them to record multiple albums as well as author their autobiography, "Higher Than Me".

“We have been given a unique opportunity to deliver a message of hope through our music,” says oldest brother Michael Cole, “and it is a challenge that we do not take likely.”

The FALCON
1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
Driven by a shared passion to create music with purpose, The Western Den is the collaborative work of Deni Hlavinka and Chris West, who blend compelling folk harmonies with ambient textures to produce a sound all their own. The duo released their debut EP, ‘Battle Hymns’, in May 2013 and premiered themselves to the public, opening for Melissa Ferrick on the northeastern leg of her national tour, in the summer of the same year. They have since shared the stage with artists such as Meg Hutchinson, Saintseneca, Paula Cole, Mark Erelli, Melissa Etheridge and the Boston Pops. Their newest EP, 'All The Birds' (2015), is available for purchase and streaming on Bandcamp, and all other platforms.

"People under the spell of the Western Den often watch them with their heads tilted upwards, their mouths slightly open, pulsing subconsciously in time to the music. It’s like observing someone having a very strange dream.” - Zoe Atlas/Sound of Boston/Local Spotlight

Melissa FerrickThe FALCON
1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
Melissa Ferrick's 12th original album is a coming home. She has arrived in a place musically that is both familiar and new. The self-titled album has been released on her own relaunched label, Right On Records is a new beginning for Ferrick.

Ferrick was part of a new wave of alt-rock females—including Liz Phair and PJ Harvey—who sang about womanhood with sharp, unchecked honesty. Morrissey proved an early champion when he personally invited her to tour as his opening act. Ferrick founded her own label and released a string of albums and EPs (more than 16 to date) in which she played almost every instrument herself.

Eight-time Boston Music Award winner, signed with MPress Records and released "Still Right Here", won an 8th annual International Acoustic Music Award (IAMA) and garnered two Independent Music Award (IMA) nominations. The title track’s music video premiered on the launch of Huffington Post’s Gay site and won two RightOutTV awards.

High school students and close friends, Miles Jakob and Leah Anne Siegel have spent the year playing together throughout the Hudson Valley.

Favorites are their deconstructed version of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit", and their original interpretation of Hozier's Cherry Wine with Leah's aching vocals and Miles' fluid finger picking.

Recent gigs include opening for the Brooklyn band "Acid House" at Dogwood, Beacon; the all-star Beacon Music Factory Band at The Falcon; and several performances at Quinn's, Beacon. They're grateful to be a part of an inspiring Hudson Valley community of musicians that is mentoring them for the musical adventure ahead.

Carla Ulbrich is a comical singer-songwriter from Clemson, South Carolina, currently living in New Jersey (in the lovely town of Exit 10). Her songs address topics such as wedgies, Waffle House, Klingons, and how rich she would be if she had the copyright on the 'F' Word. She cites her biggest musical influences as Sesame Street, camp songs, and cat food commercials. Frequently heard on Dr. Demento, Pandora and SiriusXM’s Laugh USA Channel, Carla has played all over the US: The Kerrville, Florida, and Falcon Ridge Festivals, Avalon Nude Folk Festival, Club Med, Eddie’s Attic, Bluebird Café, MENSA, NY Funny Songs Festival. Most impressively, she has opened for Twiggy the Water Skiing Squirrel and was an extra in the movie “Sharknado 2.” “Totally Average Woman” is Carla’s 6th CD.

“Perhaps the Northeast's funniest interpreter of human foibles” - Richard Cuccaro, Acoustic Live! "I LOVE Carla's songwriting- smart, funny, and insightful.” – Christine Lavin
