Time once again for our monthly presentation of Greg Westhoff's Westchester Swing Band! This world-class 18-piece Big Band features a full horn section with 5 sax's, 4 trombones, 4 trumpets, and the inimitable talents of drummer and bandleader Greg Westhoff. The band performs classic Swing music, Sinatra, Broadway selections and songs from the '40's, '50's and more.Greg Westhoff has performed on the Tonight Show and is the orchestra drummer for "Family Guy". Greg also performed with Walter Murphy and the Big Apple Band on the popular disco-era hit " A Fifth of Beethoven". | Bob Sherman, best known for his classical broadcast and interviews on WQXR, also launched his prize-winning folk show, Woody's Children," on the station in January of 1969. As result of format changes, the series transferred to WFUV in the fall of 1999, where it now airs every Sunday afternoon at 4. Among the artists whose songs were first heard on the series are David Buskin, Julie Gold, Christine Lavin and Suzanne Vega; such folk icons as Tom Chapin, Judy Collins, Tom Paxton, Odetta and Pete Seeger have joined in live in-concert sessions. The 45th anniversary Woody's Children party at Symphony Space was shown nationally last summer as a PBS special.

| The Lake Mahopac Rotary Club will be presenting its 3rd annual Rock and Roll Oldies Show on Friday, May 8th at the Mahopac High School. Headlining this year's fundraising event will be Jay Siegel's Tokens featuring the group's original lead singer - Jay Siegel. Known for their # 1 1961 song, "The Lion Sleeps Tonight", The Tokens were inducted into the Doo Wop Hall of Fame on March 14, 2015. Joining The Tokens on the show will be Barbara Harris & The Toys known for their 1965 hit "A Lover's Concerto" and Vito Picone & The Elegants make a return to Mahopac to sing their 1958 classic "Little Star".
