 The Elena Bonomo Trio was formed in the spring of 2015 by three friends who bonded over a passion for music. Comprised of Joseph Natale (Tenor Sax), Phil Rosenstock (Bass) and Elena Bonomo (Drums), the trio puts a fresh spin on tunes from the Great American Songbook, drawing influences from Pop, R&B and Hip-hop.
Elena is a recent grad of The Berklee School of Music in Boston, and a new member of the 12 Grapes family! She's performed here with The 18-piece Westchester Swing Band... held the drum set chair in Berklee’s Musical Theater Orchestra for productions of Godspell, Footloose, Legally Blonde: The Musical and others... and has worked as a freelance drummer and percussionist with various artists in the greater Boston and NYC areas, including The Novel Ideas, Ethan Thompson (American Idol), Cara Smith, and Ali McGuirk.

 Annette A. Aguilar (multi-percussionist, Band leader recording artist, producer and educator.) was born in San Francisco into a family from Nicaragua.
At the age of 16 she was sitting in and performing with renowned Latin artists from Santana, Cal Tjader and Pete and Sheila Escovedo (Sheila E).
Annette has toured internationally and has performed and shared the stage with Stevie Wonder, The Grateful Dead, Darlene Love, Jefferson airplane, The Four Tops, Tito Puente, Dave Valentine, Ray Brown, and Mose Allison, among others.
She also has toured with Grammy award winning Broadway shows, has recorded for T.V. and film, and has been the principal timpanist for the Bronx Symphony since 1997.
In 1992, Annette formed her Afro-Cuban, Latin Jazz group, Annette A. Aguilar & StringBeans."

 Dylan Doyle is creating a stir in the Hudson Valley music community. Born in the south to Yankee parents, he has been steeped in everything from Robert Johnson and Townes Van Zandt to Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Hendrix. From this comes a unique musical interpretation that lies somewhere within the delta of Rock, Rockabilly, and the Blues. Dylan was recently a featured artist in the Live Music Camp of this year's "Burning Man Event" as well as the 2014 King Biscuit Blues Festival, one of the biggest blues festivals in the country.
And he's getting noticed: "Dylan sounds like a white Jimi Hendrix." ... "A seasoned guitar slinger in a young man's frame."... "Dylan is the best young musician I've heard in a long time."
The band features Sam Allan on drums and Will Bryant on B3. We are excited to welcome the Dylan Doyle Band for their 12 Grapes DEBUT.

 The consummate musicians and storytellers Kim and Reggie Harris will appear in concert at Unison Arts Center on Saturday, May 2nd at 8pm.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, a city rich in cultural and musical heritage, Kim and Reggie's early exposure to the diversity of musical styles and genres was nurtured in the schools and churches of their youth, from gospel to classical, to jazz and pop.
Long time friends of Unison, Kim and Reggie Harris are dynamic and superbly talented traditional folk performers whose captivating stage presence and angelic harmonies have earned the respect and love of audiences throughout the US, Canada and Europe for over 30 years.  New York's own Kim Clarke performs on the Acoustic Bass, Electric Upright and four and five-stringed Electric Bass Guitar. In her 22-year tour affiliation with trombonist Joseph Bowie and his avant-jazz funk unit Defunkt, Kim wowed audiences from Iceland to Istanbul. Internationally she is noted as "at home in the Ron Carter School of HardBop" and "a dynamic Woman in Jazz."
In 1988, Rob Scheps formed Core-tet and Bartokking Heads, and established himself as a formidable force on the jazz scene. A member of the Mannes College of Music Faculty, Rob also has been a workshop clinician at Bowdoin, Dartmouth, and Hunter among others.
Kim and Rob will be joined by Bryan Carott on vibraphone and special guest on drums.

 Time once again for our monthly presentation of Greg Westhoff's Westchester Swing Band! This world-class 18-piece Big Band features a full horn section with 5 sax's, 4 trombones, 4 trumpets, and the inimitable talents of drummer and bandleader Greg Westhoff. The band performs classic Swing music, Sinatra, Broadway selections and songs from the '40's, '50's and more.
Greg Westhoff has performed on the Tonight Show and is the orchestra drummer for "Family Guy". Greg also performed with Walter Murphy and the Big Apple Band on the popular disco-era hit " A Fifth of Beethoven". Members of the Swing Band are all professional musicians who've performed in Broadway pits and with numerous industry greats.
$5 Cover or higher donation goes directly to the band.

Bob Sherman, best known for his classical broadcast and interviews on WQXR, also launched his prize-winning folk show, Woody's Children," on the station in January of 1969. As result of format changes, the series transferred to WFUV in the fall of 1999, where it now airs every Sunday afternoon at 4. Among the artists whose songs were first heard on the series are David Buskin, Julie Gold, Christine Lavin and Suzanne Vega; such folk icons as Tom Chapin, Judy Collins, Tom Paxton, Odetta and Pete Seeger have joined in live in-concert sessions. The 45th anniversary Woody's Children party at Symphony Space was shown nationally last summer as a PBS special.
