 The 15th annual Woodstock Film Festival is proud to announce a special kick-off event featuring the WORLD PREMIERE of Erez Miller and Henrique Cymerman's feature documentary East Jerusalem/West Jerusalem. Filmmaker Erez Miller and two of the film's subjects, David Broza and Steve Earle, will partake in a Q&A following the screening. The Q&A will be followed by a live acoustic concert featuring David Broza and Steve Earle. The performance will feature songs from the East Jerusalem/West Jerusalem album and more. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 15 at the Woodstock Playhouse at 103 Mill Hill Road, Woodstock, NY. Apart from fronting her own band, she has appeared in a steady stream of different projects—jazz quintet Liana and the Michaels, an EP of songs with songwriter Oscar Bilger, and currently performing with Los Doggies. Her own debut solo studio album—Rest and Heal—was released in 2013.

 Eddie Henderson (Trumpet), One of today's top and most original jazz trumpet players, Henderson first got worldwide recognition for his jazz-trumpet playing from the popular recordings he made with Herbie Hancock's Mwandishi group during the early '70s.
George Cables (Piano) Gigs around New York attracted attention to Cables' versatility by the end of the 1970s, Cables was garnering a reputation as everyone's favorite sideman.
Gary Bartz (Sax/Clarinet), was described by jazz critic Stanley Crouch as "one of the very best who has ever picked up the instrument". He has recorded more than 40 solo albums and over 200 as a guest artist.
Ed Howard (Bass), has been featured on three discs created by the Haynes group, and played in Clifford Jordan's own quartet from 1983 through 1992.
Billy Drummond (Drums), one of the busiest players of his generation, he can be heard on nearly 300 albums, including three critically acclaimed recordings as a band leader. |

 Nelson Riveros has performed and recorded with Grammy nominated pianist Hector Martignon, Grammy-winning bassist John Benitez, and Samuel Torres, Louis Bonilla, Alfredo De La Fe, Adela Dalto.
In 2010, Nelson released his first CD titled "Camino Al Barrio", a contemporary jazz recording with diverse Latin influences, which reached #8 on the Jazz Week World Music Chart.

 Celebrating their 40th year as a band in 2013, KANSAS’ first public statement appeared on their self-titled album in 1974. “From the beginning, we considered ourselves and our music different and we hope we will always remain so.” Little did this legendary rock group realize that back in the early ‘70′s, what seemed to be “different,” was actually ahead of its time.
Coinciding with the celebration of their 40th anniversary, the band KANSAS, in June 2013, was inducted into the Kansas Historical Hall of Fame.
Along with touring, KANSAS continues to remain a fixture of Classic Rock radio and has reached a whole new audience through their unmistakable presence on the popular video games Rock Band and Guitar Hero, and through their songs inclusion in various television shows such as Supernatural, and South Park, and with films Old School and Anchorman.

Slam is lead singer/guitarist in the legendary James Cotton Band. "one of the last living legends...Cotton was directly connected to Muddy Waters and there's so much history there."
From B.B. King to Otis Redding, Slam makes you feel the Soul of the music. They say it's often difficult to tell if he's doing one of his originals or an old Blues or Soul cover.
The band includes Myles Mancuso on organ. Myles has been on the Blues scene since the age of 10, and has performed at BB Kings, The Iridium and many other NYC clubs.

 Hudson Valley singer/songwriter Willa McCarthy has been an active performer in the Hudson Valley for more than a decade, most notably as a member of The Chris O'Leary Band.
She met acclaimed and award-winning singer/harp player Chris O’Leary a few years before he became the lead singer for Levon Helm's Barn Burners. When O’Leary launched his own band in 2008 and invited her to join, she jumped at the chance. Of McCarthy, O'Leary has said, "she's my favorite person in the world to sing with."
McCarthy’s vocals are powerful and soulful and her band plays a mix of blues, funk, R&B and rock—including original and cover material—and features Josh Stacy on guitar, Scott Milici on keys, Doug Abramson on bass and Jerry Teters on drums. |

NYC-based acoustic duo The Lords of Liechtenstein, are brothers, Noah (ukulele/guitar/vocals) and Dan (guitar/banjo/mandola/vocals), who have brought their unique blend of folk music to clubs and coffeehouses all over the East Coast. They've played at a wide expanse of renowned venues including the Minstrel Coffeehouse and the Lansdowne Folk Club and have opened for musical legends The Grand Slambovians, Magpie, Toby Walker, and Joe Crookston.  Connor Kennedy is a singing writer of songs, a multi-instrumentalist and future cynic.
Born in northern New Jersey and raised in the quaint blue-collar town of Saugerties, NY; Kennedy spent his childhood years collecting classic movie monster memorabilia and cultivating an obsession with twentieth century culture.
After relocating to Woodstock, NY in his late teens; Connor began work on his first record,
a collection of songs written over the course of his adolescence. "Nothing Lasts: Nothing's Over" was released in 2013. Since, his ability as a songwriter has strengthened significantly and he continues allocating subjective inspiration on a daily basis, quickly broadening his body of work. |
